Sheep Card using Scan N Cut 250

I recently "Stole" my moms Scan N Cut 250 since she was not using it and it was hanging out in a box in her sewing room for gosh knows how long.

- Here is my card insipiration from Pinterest

Why did I not get one sooner! Its awsome.

This wood stamp came from my Easter bin of supplies, its from a brand called craft smart.

I used memento black ink because for one I am going to Copic Color the images and two I have heard you get best results with a dark crisp ink/lines.
This is the Brother Scan N Cut 250, I believe it is a older version.

I am using a Heavy Weight white card stock cut to 5 1/2 inches long and 3 3/4 tall.

A T-Squared ruler and some circle dies to map out three spaces.
Some scraps of colored card stock and a circle die that is slightly bigger.
Using my Hampton Art Stamp Press to stamp the sentiment.

I cut two sentiments from two stamp sets to get the font and style I wanted.
I started with N2 along the edge of the sheep.
Then blended it with N0 which will make it a nice light grey sheep.
I just added a slight line of R3 to the inside of the ears.
And to lighted and fade out the R3 I added some 0 which is the colorless blender.
I added them to my circles so they would be peaking out the edges in different ways.

I used some Scotch tape to adhere them to the back of the panel.
Some green fun foam to add a nice amount of even dimension.
Finished Card Front.

I colored in a full sheep for the inside since I had a extra one.

I used N8 for the feet.

I cut a Heavy Weight white card stock panel the same size as the outside for the inside.

I am using a matching card stock for the card base.
Here is the stamp and I would have never fussy cut the image out.

But now I do not have too and can re think purchasing differnt stamp sets now that I am "borrowing the Scan N Cut.
Here it is in its new home under my table.

Minion Valentines Card for the Girls Teachers

I needed a Valentines Card for the girls Teachers, and this year it has been hard because they both have Guy Teachers.

I found this adorable Minion card that I figured would work perfect, I dug in my stash and grabbed my supplies.

Again using these Retired heart framelits from Stampin Up.
I am using all Textured card stock for this card and will be putting it on a Heavy Weight White card stock base.

I started off by arranging my hearts and holding them together with some washi tape.
I also cut out some grey fun foam the same way and some white Textured card stock.
I used Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere the layers together and put a block on top for just a few minutes to let them dry.
The fun foam gives just enough dimention without the added bulk.

These will also be hand delivered by the girls to their teachers so I was not to worried but found this easier then foam dots.
I used yellow Textured card stock as my main panel and added a 1/2 in piece of black Textured card stock on top/

Then used my Martha Stewart punch to punch out some matching grey hearts.

A Zig pen to make the smile.
Finished card.

 A close up.

I also added a black circle for the eyes.
To add some detail to the inside I decorated it like the front.

Valentine Card for my Girls

I wanted a Valentine card that was not childish or super feminine because my 10 year old is not girly but my 7 year old does like Holidays.

So I look over Pinterest and found this card, I knew exactly what die I wanted to use. One from the November Spellbinders card kit. it was a deer but it also had small flowers.

I used all textured card stock from their card kits because I do love me some texture every now and then.

These are the heart dies that I have, they are from Stampin UP and are retired but I use what I have.
I cut a panel that is 4 inches by 5 1/4 out of white textured card stock.

I used a pencil and lightly traced the outline.

This comes in the Spellbinders card kits as full sheets and card bases, I like to use the card base as panels because the card stock is not very thick, I can always use my heavy weight card stock as a base.
I cut both sized flowers from the November 2018 card kit.

I used two shades of pink and also a coral ish pink.

I only went with the bigger flowers, but I will save the smaller ones for a different project.
I squirted a dab of Tombow Mono Liquid Glue onto a block and folded up the flower and got a dab on the back.
I added the flowers in a pattern all around the heart on the pencil line.
I used some Viva Pearl Pen in the color cream to the centers of each flower.
Since this will be hand delieverd I used some thicker foam scraps.

I cut a main panel at 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 out of the darker coral ish pink textured card stock.
Using the good old fashion Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp in Versa Fine Black Onyx ink.

I used a Stampabilities wooden stamp as well.
Finished Card.

A close up, the texture and dimension from the flowers.

Coffee and Donuts Card

I have been trying to use things that I have not used at all or very little, I like to look at Pinterest for inspiration.

I created this card on my own and pretty proud I did not case the card from anyone.

I am using the Stamps of Life donuts2stamp dies to cut out the donut and sprinkles.

I am using some double sided adhesive to adhere the layers together.

I put the sprinkles in a dish they are pretty tiny.

I am using Stampin Up card stock for all of my die cutting.
I used a jewel picker to adhere the little sprinkles using Tombow Mono Liquid glue, just small dots all over the icing part of the donut will do.

You do not need much adhesive.
I am using the Stampin Up Coffee Cafe die to cut up the cup.
I am using a Fiskars stamp press to stamp my sentiment.
Finished card and the back of the matching envelope.

I used an Early Espresso card base to match the cup.

More pattern paper on the inside and a bean stamp to match the envelope.

I used a Woodgrain from a 12X12 Hot Buy from Micheal's.

Bacon and Eggs card

I decided to search The Stamps of Life in Pinterest and found this card and decided I wanted to recreate it.

I found the stamp and die set in my stash, its called bacon&eggs2stamp.  A club set that comes in the mail each month for around $25, you get a stamp and matching die.

These are the dies I used.

There is also two more not shown, the out line of the egg die.
I used Stampin Up's colored card stock and Heavy Weight White card stock.
This is Cajun Craze and Bravo Burgandy.

Look at how the die cut the inside of the bacon, how cool is that.

I used basic tape runner adhesive to adhere the inside of the bacon on top of the strip.
I flipped the eggs over and added the center which is Crushed Curry.

Some plain old tap to adhere it to the egg.
A circle die from my stash is what I used to cut out the plate.

Here I am just seeing which size will be best.
I taped another small piece of white card stock to cover the hole and then added some foam.
I also added foam to each end of the bacon slices, since I would be crossing them on the card.
Its ok to cut your stamps to get what you want, they did not scream I promise.

The back of the envelope, I used the same ink that matched the card stock I used to die cut the card pieces.
Finished the card.

 Close up of the dimension.

I added the same pattern paper to the inside of the card.

I used Studio Calico and Sn@p 6X6 pattern papers.
The back of the card.
