Rainbow Bookmark for Alivia

I wanted to create a book mark and went on Pinterest for some ideas.

I started off by using Bazzill Marshmallow card stock and a bookmark die from the Stamps of Life.
I used some sticky tape and placed it on one bookmark.

I cut strips in my Favorite Stampin Up rainbow combination
Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Garden Green, and Elegant Eggplant.

I have these two bind to hold my things while I am creating projects.

Well putting the sticky strip on after die cutting the bookmarks was not working.
Do not Recomend.

New piece of card stock.
Bigger then the die.

Added the stick strip, then the card stock.

Just wide enough.

Cloud die from My Favorite Things - it had the face too.
Bazzill Basics Licorice card stock and some Pearescent card stock from Nuvo.

I added sticky strip and Tombow Mono liquid glue to ensure a good seal.

Some grey the Stamps of Life ribbon.
Some Stampin UP dimensionals.

Tombow Mono liquid glue to the top of the bookmark and bottom of cloud.

Finished Bookmark
Nice and thick - Sturdy.

4th of July or Summer

I wanted to make a 4 th of July and Summer card all in one and I think I did it.

I am using a four part stencil from Taylored Expressions.

I am using some My Favorite Things white card stock.

This is the stick stencil part, its hard to tell but when I layered it i moved it up just a bit on to the blue.

I used 3 of the 4 parts of this stencil.

My second row I off set the stencil, then continued down my panel.

On my mat I have outlined in sharpie a traditional A2 sized card front.
Quick referance to designing a card.

I started off stenciling a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 panel.
I used Waffle Flower layer dies A2 to cut out the main panel.
I was able to save the side so I could use it on the inside of my card.

These sunglasses are from My Favorite Things as well as the Stay Cool word.

I used Bazzill Basics Licorice card stock and some Dollar Store fun foam.
It cut out beutiful on my Sizzix Side Kick - one pass to boot.

Took the negative to use as a stencil and used a pen to write where to glue the letters.

Tombow Mono Liquid glue and Sticky Strip to adhere the layers.

Finished Card Front.

Inside of the card.

Dimension from the foam is awsome.
Also added some acetate from my stash behind the glasses before glueing down.

Interactive Easter Card

I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire Ink latest You Tube Video showing interactive cards.

Click Here to see her video with better explination.

I used the Egg die that went with eggs2hunt

Oval infinity dies from Hero Arts.

Pattern Paper 12X12 pad from Micheal's.

Waffle Flower A2 layering dies

Mint To Be Invention Future

Hampton Art Stamp Press.
Easter Egg Stamps 4 HSN
Crushed Curry Ink and Bermuda Bay ink.
Ink and Solid Card Stock from Stampin Up.

Bermuda Bay card stock.
Strip cut 1 inches tall - start 8 1/2 long.
Scored at 2 and 2 1/2 inches.
I should have maybe done 3/4 inches tall.
I did have to trim the 2 1/2 inches a little because my egg was smaller then that width wise.

Glued the egg to the first score line 2 1/2 inches.
Added more glue - Tombow Mono Liquid Glue.

Added the bigger Oval egg.
Just over the second score line 2 1/2 inches.
This is what the back looks like.

Slide threw the rectangle hole you made.

I used Liguid glue but you can use sticky strip.
Just a little on the edge of the inside component.
This will hold down the mechanism.
Make sure if you use liquid glue to ensure you spot before you place down - no take backs - LOL.

Add some adhesive to the back but not close to the mechanism.

I decided to add ribbon to the front with a bow after I adhere the panel.
Just use an exacto know to make a slit on the card fold wide enough to slide you ribbon.

Add sticky strip on the front and back to make sure the ribbon stays in place.

Finished Card.
I tied a bow and used a glue dot to adhere it.
the Stamps of Life ribbon - from a card kit.

More pattern paper for the inside because why not.
Sahara Sand ink.

Back of the card.
On a Bermuda Bay card stock card base.

I do no have a pull stamp so I wrote pull on the tab then trimmed down,
As you can see the strip could have been 3/4 inches tall butt just use your judgment.
