Christmas card with Wood Veneer Reindeer

While shopping at Micheal's with my mom I found some Wood Stickers, and by stickers I mean there was a tiny foam circle sticker that was on the back and very easily removed.

They were from their Creatology section for Kids and Crafts. I scooped up two packages of 24 because they will not last as they sell out fast.

I searched Reindeer cards and found this CARD.

I made four card but this is so simple and fast you can make a bunch.

I am using Crumb Caked card stock sized 4 inches by 5 1/4.

Real Red card stock sized 4 1/4 by 5 1/2.

A heavy weight white card base A2 sized.
I am takeing some Burlab wired ribbon from my stash that I got on clearance from Micheal's last year.

Celebrate It collection, Wired Edge Ribbon 2 1/1 iches wide.

I started off with just about a 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 square, I cut off the wired part.
I removed tome of the fringe from the edge.
Here I am using a Hero Art stamp set CL543.

I placed it on my Crumb Cake piece to see were I wanted to stamp it out.

Going to use Crumb Cake ink.
I am using Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere the reindeer.

I also added some more to the back after it dried about 5 minutes

Tags of Christmas Day 2

Ya, Day 2 of 25 Tags of Christmas.

Here is my Pinterest inspiration for THIS tag.

This is a very simple one that took under an hour to make 15.

Gathering my supplies, using Stampin UP Riding Hood Red, Baked Brown Sugar, and Gumball Green card stock along with their tree builder punch and a star punch.

I also have some 12X12 pattern paper in their that I took to my paper stash to find those colors that match.
I started off by punching out five of each tree pattern.

I will end up cutting off the trunk so it will be OK not to punch the whole tree out.
Here I am decided the width and height of my tag.

I am using a Stamps of Life card kit stamp for the Merry.
I cut 5 of each 2 inches wide by 4 inches tall.
Just simply cutting the corners off and hole punching near the top.
Cutting of the bottoms of the tree trunks and adding some dimension with some foam.
Using some Versa Fine Black Onyx ink and stamping the Merry in the center just a smidge over the bottom.
Using a My Favorite Things stamp set for the back.
Punching out stars from silver glitter paper.
Using some thin foam circles to pop up the star on the tree.

Tags of Christmas 2016 Most Used Supplies ( Tag Talk )

Here is a list of my most used Tags of Christmas Supplies for this 2016 Season

Lets start with the Tags, Of course you can use your Cricut or Silhoute to cut out tag shapes as well if you have an electronic die cutting machine.

I do have this Scallop Tag Topper punch from Stampin UP, which is awsome if you want to make long tags.

Only down fall is the paper you have to cut and it needs to be cut just shy of 2 inches.
Here is a close up of the punched top.
I have recently found these tags at Micheal's.

These are a 24 pack of cream color on the front and white on the back.
Close up of the hole and design on top.

They are normaly $1.50 but are often on sale for .99 cents and if your Military you can get an extra 15% off as well.

Plus there are other coupons that are for sale items as well, gives and extra % off.
These are the Kraft 24 pack, same size as the cream on front.

The Kraft are front and back.

These do not come with string.

These are smooth sided, I noticed with Stampin Up ink they need a little drying time to insure no smearing, 1-2 hours.

Some of the other colors I choose, they are also white on the back.
Here is an 8 pack burlap type tags that are great for mixed media type tags.

They have string included and have a nice texture to them.

They were also $1.50 regular price.
Of course same color on both sides, the string is sort of rustic as well.
Here are a few of the other colors I picked up with the same burlap texture as the Kraft tags.
These were a nifty shape as well I thought as crusing down the isles of Micheal's.

They have stitching on the front.

There are also 24 in a pack for $1.50 regular price.

The backs of the tags, all a bright white except the Kraft on the back.

Elf card, No Stamping

May May Made It, posted a Elf card that I had to recreate with what I had in my stash, this was so simple I made four cards once I found the pattern paper that matched my Real Red card stock.

I am using a Sizzix Buttons Die #5 to cut out some white buttons from heavy weight white card stock.
I took a sheet of Gumball Green card stock and cut it into four panels sized 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches.

My pattern paper is cut 4 1/4 wide by 2 inches tall.

My Real Red piece is cut at 4 1/4 inches wide by 1 inch tall.
I used the same heavy weight white card stock and cut a 1 inch by 1 inch square.

I layered on top a 3/4 inch by 3/4 inch Real Red square with some Liquid Tombow Mono glue.
I added this on foam in the middle of the belt.

I took the card panel and added it to a top folding cream colored card base.
I cut a doilie in half and added it shaped like a V to the top of the card to make the collar.

I used Tombow Mono Liquid glue, just a dab not alot.

Trim off the excess.
Finished Card.

Tags of Christmas Day 1

Here we go, lets see if I can do 25 Tags of Christmas.....

Here is my Pinterest inspiration for THIS tag.

So Day 1, a Snow Flake Tag with a bit of a vintage feel, I ended up making 9 of these Tags in under an hour.

This To and From stamp set is accualy from a Halloween stamp set from My Favorite Things called "Spider Web"
I used Stampin UP Baked Brown Sugar ink.

This stamps is from Hero Arts CL803.
I am corner rounding the bottom edges.

I made the tag just shy under 2 inches because if fits in the Stampin UP Scalloped Tag Topper punch.
Added a strip that was 3/4 inches wide from an Old Hobby Lobby Christmas pack that was sized 8 1/2 by 11 inches, the pack is called I Believe in Santa.
I decided to ink around the edges with the same Baked Brown Sugar ink.
I am using a Tim Holt ink blending tool.

My tag base is a heavy weight cream card stock.
I am using a Marthat Stewart snow flake punch along with Baked Brown Sugar card stock.
A foam square in the middle and add the second snow flake off center to make it a little fuller.
A small dab of Tombow Mono Liquid glue and the doubled snow flake on top.
Anouther small dab of glue in the center and a gem from my stash.
15 inches of this twine folded in half, took the loop and put threw the whole and then took the ends and pulled them threw basicly into a slip knot.
Finished, front and back.
