Wishing you lots of Awsome card

This is my Inspiration card, mainly for the sentiment but also the Distress Ink background.

I am using some things old and some things new from my craft room, Distress Oxide inks, Distress Micro Glaze, and Alcohol Ink Cardstock in the gloss finish.

I started off by using my Hampton Art Stamp Perfect tool, Heavy Weight white card stock, Versa Fine Black Onyx ink and a stamp set from Spellbinders that was a freebie in a card kit.
I am using my mom Scan N Cut to cut out the word.
It did a pretty good job, I am still learning.

I think if the S and O were connected it would have been a seemless cut, but I made it work in the end.
For this technique you need glossy card stock, I am not sure if any other company makes this but I got mine from the ranger brand on Amazon.

I choose aged mahogany, spun sugar, and peacock feathers for my Distress Oxide ink.
I smooshed the ink on my Fiskars mat and added sprays of water.

Then smooshed the glossy card stock down into the ink in different spots.
My mat was big enough to have the three colors on at once.

I smooshed and dried with my heat tool after each time.
I can not remeber where or when or how long I have had this Fiskars mat but its awsome and why have I not used it before.
This is before the Micro Glaze.

I used a new clean foam on my round blending tool.
The top half has the glaze buffed and wiped off.

The bottom half has no glaze yet.

Look at hose colors pop.
I used my Lawn Fawn stitched rectangles to cut out two panels from this background creation.

I then used fun foam on the back of the panel since it had warped a little, I used double sided tape first.
I made a 110 pound White card base that is a top fold turned side ways.

I then embossed (dry) with a diagonal folder.

I used Tombow Mono Liquid glue to adhere the fun foam panel to the embossed panel.
Finished card.

I added the sentiment on foam as well.

I embossed in white on black an extra sentiment.

I added some white flat back gems to accent my card.
Close up.

Distress Ink Colorful Flowers Card

I have been searching Distress Ink and Distress Oxide Ink on Pinterest lately and found this card.
I do not have the stitched flower dies in the card that was featured but I do have a different stitched flower die set from a different kit.

I started off with a lot of die cutting.

I used my Gemini Junior machine because that machine really does make the stitching pop when die cutting.
 Look at that close up.

I was also able to use up a lot of scraps of watercolor paper that I had.
I pulled out 6 Distress ink colors.

In a rainbow fashion of course.

and my ink blending tools.
I began gluing the pieces onto the water color panel with Tombow Mono Liquid Glue.

For the leaves and the flowers with petals I only added a little glue because I am going to pop them up with rolled up glue dots.
I cut off the pieces that hang off the card panel.
I started off with the lightest color of ink and began pouncing color on my project.
Its not pretty and it will look better.
I added some water and a scoop of Perfect Pearls powder to a mini mister bottle.
I added a decent amount but made sure it was not pooling, just enough to make it blend a bit more.
It is hard to see in photos but there is a ton of sparkle on this panel.
I then use some slightly water down Liquitex Titanium White paint to make some generous splaters.
Not a good photo but oh well.
Withe my camera flash, I added a heat embossed sentiment on the black card stock.

No flash, and again I rolled up glue dots to put behind the flower petals and leaves.

 A better close up.
One final close up.

Halloween Pumpkin Painting 2015 12X12 Scrapbook Page

I decided to dig into scrapbooking this year and I am finding out I print way too many copy and get my self confused.  Well I found a set of a few photos that I have not Scrapped and decided to go for it.

This is accualy a Design D spread from the Becky Higgins Project Life pocket pages, But I decided to spread it out onto a 12X12 black card stock base.

One reason I wanted to change it up was because I wanted to keep my objects square, IE no rounded corners and I was having a hard time because the "remember the times" 4X6 card was rounded.
I wanted the yellow/orange journal card because it had a nice white area for journaling but I needed to find a way to hide the "gift" icon on the bottom left.

I went with a Target $1 wood pumpkin and decided to add a bunch of google eyes, to tie into the pumpkins we created.
I also was not sure what to back the two 3X4 cards on because I had used all the colors that tied into the photos already.

Then I thought hey white felt because we used it on the pumpkins as well.

I used double sided adhesive as my glue and it worked well.
Brought out the We R Memory Keepers laser tool to help get me a nice 1/2 inch border and it worked well.
I may be off a little but I am totally OK with it because if I had not used the tool I would have been way way more off.
Added a little Tombow Mono Liquid glue to the pumpkin before adding it to the card.

I also added some wax paper behind as so it would not stick to my work surface.
Added my journaling with a black pen.
I took off the foam from theses dimensional stickers and just used Tombow Mono Liquid glue to adhere them to the layout.

These embellishment stickers are from Hobby Lobby or Micheal's.
All done.

Close up, I used a Lucky Limeaid paper behind the photo with all the pumpkins and added anouther dimensional sticker that I made flat.
I used a Freckaled Fawn label sticker and two different roller date stamps.

Anouther dimensional sticker made flat and white and Pumpkin Pie card stock to mat the photos.
This is Perfect Plum card stock.

I used Stampin UP colored card stock for all the photos and also Heavy Weight White card stock.
Close up.

Distress Oxide Ink Galaxay purple and blues

I got some new Distress Oxide Inks and a new Space die set and decided to go for it and create galaxy backgrounds.

I started with some water color paper cut at 5 1/2 by 4 1/4.

I used 4 colors of distress oxide ink and some foam blending tools.
I then added some black soot distress ink to the white spaces and added some to the colored areas.
I then spritzed it with water.
I used my heat tool on low to dry it.
I used some white pain to add some stars with a paint brush. I added a little water to the paint to thin it out just a little.
Here is my blue and green panel.
Again added black soot distress ink and sprayed with water and heat set tell it was dry.
More splatters, I noticed with the blue one the splaters changed colors just a bit but I was ok with it.
A new space die set that I got from Hobby Lobby.

I used card stock to try and match my galaxay back ground.
I used foam and liquid glue to adhere my pieces.

Finished card, the pinks and yellows.

The second card, the blues and greens

 A close up.
The inside of the cards, I matched the ink from the card stock to the sentiments.
The back of the cards.
