Flower Fold-it Die

I decided I wanted to make a card with a flower.  I looked at my stash of flowers and found this easy Flower Fold-it die from the Stamps of Life, it is sized A1.

I pretty much followed the packaging that the A1 Flower Fold-it die came with.
The yellow polka dot paper came from a 12X12 Designer Series Paper pack from Stampin UP - A very Long Long time ago. I am pretty sure it is in the color Daffodil Delight.

I am primarily using Stampin Up paper for this card.

The big die is the actual card die and the panel you cut out to cover the fold.

I used from Stampin UP -
Pale Plum, Elegant Eggplant, Granny Apple Green, Call Me Clover, and Very Vanilla.
I used from the Stamps of Life -
Powder Sugar - the white for my card base, I was going to use Very Vanilla but it was not sturdy enough.

I used a two tag dies from my stash to cut out solid colors of card stock.
A bigger tag die for the neutrals and a smaller tag die for the solid color card stock.
I put the company initials on the back.

I am using a combination of Tombow Mono Liquid glue and Stampin Up dimenstionals to put my Flower together.

Adding different layers of dimension will give this simple card depth.

I like to use a combination of Tombow Mono Liquid glue and foam dimensionals to give a little wiggle room while placing the piece on my project.

For the fine line leaves and center of the flower, Barley Art Glitter glue with the fine tip is essential.

Finished Card.

Side View - I am leaving the card blank because you can use this card for many occasions.

It does stand up.

Closer view - I also used an enamel dot for the center of the flower to give dimension and shine.

"You are the cat's meow" cat card for My mama

I decided to make anouther card using a die set called Be a Cat from Waffle Flower.

Would you like to see how I made this card using the Waffle Flower Be a Dog Die.  Click here.

I started off by cutting out two of each.
I am making one card for my stash and one card to send to my moma.

For the cat I used the Stamps of Life Storm and Bubblegum ink and card stock.
I am using Taylored Expressions Blender Brushed to apply ink and shading to the cat.
I used my Cutter Bee scissors to trim of the pieces.

The left if no inked and the right is inked.
Inking brings some life into the cat.

I decided inking was not giving me the color I wanted to I direct to paper my ink and card stock pieces to get a darker color.
I am working on my Waffle Flower Grip Mat and a glass board.

The grip mat holds the card stock down and makes inking alot easier.

I leave the grip mat on the glass mat and put it in my rolling cart next to my paper trimmer.

I added some Sticky Tape to the back of the nose and added the cloud nose and the bubble gum nose.
It give a little dimension having the two nose pieces.

I am using some washi tape and a black marker to color the eyes.

I used some the Stamps of Life Powder Sugar card stock to cut out the whiskers.
I added a little Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to my glass craft mat and just dabbed a little glue to the back of my whiskers then applied them to my cat.

I believe the Scalloped Rectangle was a Retired item from Stampin Up.
The pattern paper came from a card kit from the Stamps of Life called Happy Thoughts Collection.

I am using Marshmallow card stock from Bazzill Paper for my card base.
The blue is from the Stamps of Life and matches the patter paper it is called Sky.
I rounded the corners with my We R Memory Keepers Punch Board.

I am using a stamp set from the Stamps of Life called sayings4cat.

I dug into my heart die stash to fine a few hearts that would fit my project.

I added the Scallop Rectangle and pattern paper flat on my card base.
I popped up my cat and the sentiment with Stampin Up Dimensionals.

This is the card front.

I added anouther Scalloped Rectangle mat inside and more hearts.

This is the back of the card.
The ink I used cordinates with the card stock of the card.

The bigger heart is from Stamps of Life Real Red card stock.

Friends Fur-ever Doggy Valentines Card

I wanted to play with the Waffle Flower Be a Dog Die so I made two cards for Valentines day that can be geared for kids or family.

This die has 5 pieces to it.
I used the small die to cut is belly out and glue it to his body.

I cut two dogs, well four because I am making two cards.
One in Bazzill Marshmallow and one in the Stamps of Life Gingersnap.

Tombow Mono Liquid Glue as my go to adhesive.

I also cut the tounge pieces but in the end decided not to use them.
The nose I cut out in the Stamps of Life Twig card stock.

I trimed the white half of the dog off and glued the white bottom half, this also give him some dimenstion.
I glued the white and brown pieces in for the nose so its three layer high.

I keep all my heart dies in one sleeve, it makes it easier to find the one I need.

I am using Waffle Flower grip mat on a small metal mat that it easily moves and my grip mat can stay there.
I am using the Stamps of Life Twig ink and a Taylored Expressions Blending Brush.

I am ink blending on Bazzill Butter Mints card stock.
The stencil is from Taylored Expressions TESN62.

For the heart layer I decided to go with Crafter's Companion "Poinsettia" Glitter Paste.

The are just drying.

I am using my discontinured Hampton Arts Stamp Press and a smaller Waffle Flower Grip Mat.
Real Red ink from Stampin Up and a sentiment from My Pink Stamper called More Punny-licious.

Real Red card stock from Stampin Up for my card base.
Powder Sugar card stock from the Stamps of Life for the inside mat.
The decorative edge of the card mats is from a die called Deckle Edge Rectangles from the Stamps of Life.

I matted the stamped sentiment in Real Red card stock.
I stamped on Marshmallow card stock to match my doggy.

I used an retired Real Red ribbon on the front of the card.
The card mat, doggy, heart, and sentiment are popped up on Stampin Up Dimensional's.
