Hoppy Halloween card #1

I used this adorable frog to make a Halloween card

I decided, after looking at alot of my masking stencils to go with the scalloped square from Taylored Expressions.
I attached it to my grip mat from Waffle house that is alwasy on a protable glass mat that is next to my creative station and I am using a 4 X 5 1/4 Sugar Cube card stock from Taylored Expressions.

I decided a long time ago to have some card mat sizes at my desk.
I cut them from heavy weight black card stock and made size labels with my label maker.

To design my card it helps to lay out my main images on the mat to see if my vision will work out

I started with Taylored Expressions Strawberry Milkshake ink.

Then I added Guava ink and went back with the Strawberry Milkshake ink.

I love the reveal.

I am just using some black paint from my stash and some water and a fan brush on a stamp block.

I took my image to the splatter box.
It took a little elbow grease to clean off the splatters from the stencil.

Here I used these dollar spot trays from Target to sort my die cuts.
I got them a long time ago and alot cheaper then the scrapbook.com trays.

I used a white gel pen to color the inside of the eyes before I glued the black part ontop.

I decided to go with the same scallop detail to tie the front of the card to the inside.
I used a scallop die from Stamps of Life and card stock that matched my ink blending.
Taylored Expressions - Strawberry Milk Shake and Guava.

I decided to heat emboss the sentiment in white over black card stock.
I used my Misti, Taylored Expression embossing powder tool, Versamark, and Stamp of Life Powder Sugar pigment ink.
The die cut is from my stash and I also cut it out and imput that into my Misti and that turned into an easy way to hold my die cut and insure perfect stamping each time.

I used my tweezers and tiny scissors alot with gluing these little pieces.
My Sweet Petunia glue press as well because it has a fine tip for the glue.

Back of the card and back of the envelope.
My name stamp was a freebie that Altnew sent me a few years ago.
These stamps are from Technique Tuesday (don't believe they are still in business) set called Broom Riders.

Inside of the card.
The inside of the card is also stamped from the same Technique Tuesday Stamp set.
I matched the ink to the card stock in all my stamping.
Taylored Expressions - Strawberry Milkshake - Guava - Kiwi - Peapod.

Side View #1.
My card base is in the color Kiwi by Taylored Expressions.
The frog is made with Kiwi, Pea pod, and Strawberry Milkshake and the black is from Stamps of Life Liquorice ink.

Side View #2.
The little spider came from a Tim Holtz die and the spider web came from Simon Says Stamp.
The Best Witches sentiment came from Paper smooches (anouther company no longer with us) Best Witches.

Finished Card.

Bumble Bee Paper Clips

Happy New Year - Here is to more posts and crafting more.

Lets start off with a pair of Bumble Bee Paper Clips, I used taylore expressions Critter Clips - Valentine and paired that with the Stamps of Life card stock and some Silver Glitter paper from my Stash.

This is the Die Set I used - Critter Clips - Valentines from taylore expressions

My tray is from a Crop & Create event I attended last year I believe.
I cut out from the Stamps of Life Sunshine, Licorice, and Silver Glitter (from my stash)
I cut out each set of bodys four times
I used tweezers and some Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere the body parts.

The bumble bee body

I used a glue gun to adhere the black paper clip.
I used Stampin Up dimensionals to build up and not create a damn when you place the second body on top.
More glue on the dimensionals.

I put the other body pieces on and then placed the main body on top.
Then I realized I needed to cut one more tail and head to match the front.
I glued that on top so it would match on both sides.

Finished Clips.

Christmas Tag/Ornament Wax Seal (deer image)

I decided to venture into my Wax Seals supply and create something.

I have only used them one other time and I do love them.

I have a silicone mat, the wax melter with a tea light, a wax seal spoon to melt the beads, and my stamp.
I started off by making my Was Seals.
I am using Honey Bee Stamps wax beads and their Deer wax seal stamp.
I used Vintage Love - a gold, pink, and the cream color.
The one on the left I liked a lot better - I added the pink color to that melt.

I decided to go with the brown paint pen.
You can cut up the pieces you do not like.
I placed them in a plastic back and I will remelt them again at anouther time.

The finished one.
I used Mossy Meadow card stock.
The Berry Branch die from Taylored Expression.
I trimmed off part of the branch so it would fit on my tag.

I inked up the Plaid Background stamp set from Taylored Expressions.
I used Sahara Sand ink from Stampin Up.
A wood tag from Micheal's arts and craft store.
I let this tag dry for a couple hours, a head gun would move the drying time faster.

Some dimensionals from Stampin Up and a little Tombow Mono Liquid Glue.
I used a craft pick to help me with the dimensionals.

Here the branches are glued down.

I have some Wax Seal glue circles.

I also added some foam to the back.
I used some backers twine from who knows where i go that, held on by a few glue dots.

I used some red pearl gems from Honey Bee stamps, I also added a little extra glue behind them.

Decided on no sentiment on the front, I liked it just like this.

The ribbon is from the Stamps of Life, I also added more of that twine as well.

The back of the tag i added a sentiment from a Simon Says Stamp pre printed sentiment pack.
It says from out home to yours.

Witch Flying over the Moon

I wanted to use some brand new products and of course I choose to make a Halloween card.

I started off by using some Pink & Main Ice Rink card stock cut to a standard card panel.
I used Taylored Expressions Pineapple ink.
Which is 4 1/4 by 5 1/2.
I have that on my Waffle Flower grip mat.
My grip mat is on my Wendy Vechi Make art magnet station, it lives on this blue mat and I have it right next to my Fiskars paper trimmer.

I cut a circle mask from some masking paper.

I used Taylored Expressions Sprinkles ink around the outside of the moon.
I am using Taylored Expression small blending brush.

I then used Cookie Monster ink and anouther small blending brush to go a little further towards the edge.

I used Blueberry ink on the very outside of the panel.
I used a regular size blending brush.

I removed the mask and used Potato Chip ink to cover the inside of the moon, I did go out to the blue just a little to create a halo effect.

When the panel is all finished.
I dried the panel with my heat gun first to make sure my splatters did not pick up any color.

I used White and a blue metalic paint.
I have an old My Favorite things box that I do my splatter in.

I used a old acrylic block with a little water to help my pant flow a little.

I cut out the witch and bats from Trinity Stamps from Black Licorice card stock.
I used a pouncer to add some white pigment ink to certain areas.
Then used my finger to smooth out the ink.

I then heat set after I had finished my splattering.
I placed the panel in my Misty stamping tool and used White pigment ink to stamp Happy Halloween from Simon Says Stamp Hand lettered Halloween.

I did treat the panel with Taylored Expression embossing buddy.
I used a white fine detail powder of the stamped image and heat set that.

I used My Favorite Things deckle edge dies to cut out the panel.

I used Stampin Up dimensionals to pop up the main panel.

Finished Card

Close up, I used Pinkfresh Studios Gems - clear with gold dust.
I used Blueberry card stock as well.

I used the same deckle edge and Pink and Main card stock.
The stamp set is from Queen and company stamped in Blueberry ink.
I used the extra bats on the inside as well.

I used Blueberry ink and my name stamp came as a free gift from Altnew.
The stamp above my name came from Queen and Company.
