Valentines Day Card #4

This card inspiration came from a newsletter I get from Fresh Squeezed Stamps, I actually ordered the stamp set right after I saw the card, I also saw a similar stamp set at Micheal's that I purchased from Inkadinkado.  I also used my favorite inks from Stampin Up.

Stamp set from Inkadinkado called Hearts.
I used the small heart from this set called Homespun Birdhouse from MFT Die-manics.
I used the FROM THE HEART sentiment from this stamp set called Wonderful Words: Hello from Papertrey Ink.
The inside sentiment "Happy Valentines Day", is from my Simon Says Stamp set called Only Have Eyes For You which came in my January 2014 Card Kit.
The front of the envelope.
The back of the envelope.
The inside of the card.
I adhered a piece of patterned paper to my card base (which is The Paper Studio heavy weight card stock from Hobby Lobby), the patterned paper is 2 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches long. The paper came from a new stack I got from Micheal's called Paddywack (Recollections brand 12X12)
Favorite Dollar Store foam Squares.
I used ink from Stampin Up in Cherry Cobbler and Smokey Slate and stamped the sentiment on the outside and inside with Versa fine Black onyx ink.
Added some silver sequins from Hobby lobby and I added a 1/4 inch strip of black to the card because I felt that it needed another touch of black.
Finished Card.

Valentines Card #3

I recently picked up this Valentines Punch/sew things from American Crafts at Target and Wanted to recreate the card that was on the Upper left of the packaging.

I Started off with a mat in white and drew two faint pencil lines so I knew where to punch the Love in.
I separated the sting in half and ran my needle threw and tied the tow ends.
Using some random foam squares from my stash and allot of them to be exact. I also used tape over the ends of the sting to ensure they wouldn't unravel.
The paper pad from Micheal's, I believe it was from last year.
The card base is white but I cut a piece of Rose Red card stock from Stampin Up to put over the white base, the Rose Red matched perfectly with the string that came with the stencil.
Side View.

The paper sized strips I just eyeballed.
Sentiment on the inside I stamped also with Rose Red ink, the Happy Valentines Day it the top middle.  I got this stamp set from my Simon Says Stamp Card kit, January Kit.

Feminin Sympathy Card

Recently at work a co-workers wife had passed away, a lot of my co-workers had texted me the news and asked if I could make a card. I went with my new favorite quick technique of the masking tape/painters tape. I did make a Masculine Sympathy card using this technique but changed it to be more feminin.

I used my Favorite inks by Stampin Up, (by the way if you need a demonstartor to purchase from I just found a fabulose local lady)

For my images I stamped them in my Favorite Versa Fine Black Onyx ink.

I am entering this in the Fabulous Word Art Wednesday anything thing goes challenge #115.
I am also entering this in the Simon Says Stamp  anything goes challenge as well.

Ink colors in from left to right Pritty in Pink, Strawberry Slush, and Primrose Petals.

Good old fashion painters tape from my local Walmart.
One of my go to Sympathy Stamp Sets from Hero Arts, With Depest Sympathy that I purchased at Micheal's with a 40 % coupon.
Lightest color on top and you see that smudge on the top left I will be covering up that boo boo with my stamped image.
Enamel Dot Stickers from Micheal's(Recollections brand in their Valentines section).
I always purchase these Square Mounting Tabs at my local Dollar Store whenever I see them, I usually purchase at least 5 sets every time I see them, you get 64 squares in a pack.
This is my stamped mat and that's how many squares I put on.

Birthday Card for Grandma #1

My parents asked me to make a Birthday card for Grandma so I went with a quick and easy go to card that I have made before and yes I have cased this idea form Katina Martinez.

Super simple card that could be change to a thank you card as well.

Using some of my favorite products from Stampin Up.

Finished card with coordinating envelope.

I used a piece of cream card stock that was 2 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches tall.

I used my Elegant Butterfly punch from Stampin Up and slid it in so the paper would be at the bottom.

I wrapped some red and white twine around the top from my stash and used some tape to hold it down and used ahh hem alot of foam squares around it so the image piece wouldn't sag.
My base is a cream colored card stock from Hobby lobby (their heavy weight card stock)

My background paper is from Stampin Up DSP Pocketfull Of Posies.

The happy birthday stamp is also from Stampin Up Teany Tiny Wishes set.

Inside Sentiment
I used some cream colored pearls that I purchased from Hobby lobby to finish off the Butterfly.

Birthday Card for Grandma #2

This is the second card I made for my grandma, the first card was one my parents asked me to make so they could send one to her.

I just received a new batch of goodies from Papertrey Ink today and wanted to dive right into them.

I also used some of my favorite supplies from Stampin Up as well.

I also made a coordinating envelope to match using the We R Memory Keepers Envelope punch board.

This is they layout I started with and then changed it in the end.

I used a punch from We R Memory keepers to punch out the 3 by 4 cream piece.

The background paper is from Stampin up DSP Pocketfull Of Posies.
I used the remaining paper from the punch to cut out my flowers and the birthday die, using washi tape to hold the dies down.
These flower dies do not have holes to help punch out the paper and that's no problem just use some washi tape to get them out.
Ta Da.

The Stamp and Die sets are from Papertrey Ink: Polka Dot Parade #2 and Wonderful Words: Birthday.
I used the coordinating stamps and used Stampin Up So Saffron ink, they are not stamped perfect but hey every flower is unique.
First I die cut the birthday and stamped the coordinating stamp set on top in Stampin Up Crumb Cake ink, but I didn't stamp it perfectly, so I rethought and stamped first then die cut and it worked out pretty darn good.
I glued the big flowers first and pop doted the smaller flowers.

The stems are stamped in Stampin Up Pear Pizzazz ink.
The inside of the card.

Valentines Card #2

So I had some scraps of patterned paper left from the custom envelope's I made to go with my Valentines Card #1 and thought I could make a simple fast card with some of the scraps.

My card base is a kraft color from Recollections.

I used pretty much the same supplies as Valentines Card #1 because they were already on my desk.

The cards.
The patterned paper is cut the same width at the card @ 4 1/4 inches and the height is cut at 2 1/4 inches. I stamped the sentiment in Versa Fine Black Onyx ink. I used a razor blade to make a slit in the side of the card to feed the ribbon threw and to tie a knot, I lifted up the ribbon to add some tape runner adhesive and then added some fau stitching with my Stampin Write marker in basic black. I stamped Happy Valentines day on the inside also with Versa Fine Black Onyx ink. Super quick to make less then 10 minutes for two cards.

Close up Time.

The stamp set is from Hero Arts CL342 Everyday Messages.

The inside stamp is from the Stampin up retired set Whacky Wishes.

The ribbon is from Michael's, there Celebrate it 360 satin ribbon, 3/8 inch in a light pink.

I used a Stampin Up writer marker in Basic Black.

The heart paper is from Targets dollar section from last year.

Basic supplies like glue, adhesive, glue dots and ink can be found at your local craft store, Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

Enchanted Woodland mat pad

I just wanted to show the Enchanted Woodland mat pad by Martha Stewart Crafts.

The mat pad size is 6.75 by 4.75, I purchased this at Michael's last year but if you search in google you can purchase this from Amazon or Ebay.

There really are some papers in this mat pad that don't necessarily have to be for Valentines day.

There are 36 sheets included, four each of seven double sided pattern paper, four different foil sheets and 4 different glittered sheets.

Front of mat pad.

Patterned paper first side.

Patterned paper back side.

Foil sheets.

Glittered Sheets.
