Valentines Cards 2022 Design #2

I received a unique fun fold card from my Stampin Up demo and wanted to recreate it with a Valentines twist but not to Valentines.

This pattern Paper from Echo Park is a 12X12 pack called Dots and Stripes.
I cut it to be 5 1/2 wide by 12 inches long.
I scored at 4 inches, 6 inches, and 8 inches.

These were the first three original sizes I cut.
I ended up changing the size for the front panel to fit my sentiment better.
I used Bazzill Paper Basics in Coconut Swirl.

This is a the Stamps of Life die that also has a shadow.

The back panel is a single one sized at 4 1/4 by 5 1/2.
I used Tombow Mono Liquid glue to adhere the panel with a slight amount of white.showing on the right.
Liquid glue gives me a little wiggle room to get the fold to the left edge of the Coconut Swirl card stock.

This is how it looks folded closed.

The top one is after I adhered the trimmed down Coconut Swirl.
I wanted  a thinner border.

I decided I wanted to add some more grey/silver so I pulled out some the Stamps of Life ribbon.
I used some thin double sided adhesive on the inside and outside to wrap the ribbon around the front panel.

Some Stampin Up dimensionals on the back of the main sentiment panel.

I used a few My Favorite Things stamp sets for the inside on the card.
Sweet Celebrations and X's and O's

I used a heart die from my stash, I believe from Stampin Up.
Only a little liquid glue on one side of the heart as so you will not glue your inside card shut.

Finished 3 cards.
Glue dot to secure bow.

I used Date Swirl card stock for the shadow part of the sentiment - Bazzill Paper Basics.
From Stampin Up - Strawberry Slush, Regal Rose, and Pretty in Pink card stock and ink

Inside of the cards.
If I were to make these cards again I think they would pop more on the inside with anouther layer of the matching card stock behind the heart and inside sentiment panel.
But in doing so this card might become more heavy and require more postage.
