Back again and created a Cat themed Interactive Easter Egg Shaped Card.
Started off by using the Main die to create the card. I used the Stamps of Life Powder Sugar card stock. |
You get the main larger die, the smaller die and then the main image die. This is from the Stamps of life. |
I used the Image die and layer to cut out the mail focal. I used the layer die to cut out a plain canvas to glue the image to. |
I kept this ink because I ultimently messed up but still wanted to show my process. |
I thought I had it inked off and blocked correctly but I did not. |
See some of the colors blended to close. I saved the egg panel and put it in with my die set. |
I cut out the egg design in Powder Sugar again. |
Inked them directly with my ink pads. |
Glued them on a Powder Sugar egg shape. |
Took that Egg Shape and my scissors and cut along one of the Zig Zag lines. |
My pokey tool and a green brad from my stash - maybe Micheal's or Hobby Lobby. |
Pacific and Green Apple card stock. I used a Stampin Up embossing folder for some cloud texture. A grass die from the Stamps of Life - they have a few and not sure where this one came from. |
Cut one more Powder Sugar Egg Shape. Glued my clouds and grass down. |
Made sure to check with my egg to make sure I did not glue to high or to low. |
There is some extra due to cutting the egg in half - I just trimmed it even after glueing it down. |
Finished Card front. The card hold came from a card kit form the Stamps of Life. |
When the Egg is open it shows a cat inside with some Cat Themed Easter Eggs. |
