I used clear Wink of Stella on the green part of coloring.

I put the diagonal piece on a Crumb Cake card panel which is onto a Heavy Weight White card base.

I also cut anouther Old Olive circle a bit bigger.

CAS(E) this Sketch #192

I  really like the Sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch I decided to look at my Christmas stamps and dies, I then went on Pinterest and found some examples, my inspiration came from this CARD.

If you would like to play along with CAS(E) this Sketch #192 CLICK HERE.

I cut out alot of images from Lawn Fawn Deck the Halls.

The bottom of the photo is me placeing out the images and sentiment so I could figure out the width and height of what I need to cut out my heavy weight white card stock.
This Deck the Halls stamp and die set are my cup of tea.

I love many of the Lawn Fawn stamp and die sets but these are my favorite, I do not prefer to color images even though there are alot of talented card makers that color beutifully.
I am using these Stampin Up inks plus one that I brought out later during my card processing.

Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, and Certainly Celery.
I am using Tombow Mono Liquid glue to adhere the firns or leaves down first.

I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede.
I am making four cards at once so I took a piece of Crumb Cake card stock and a My Favorite Things music background stamp along with Crumb Cake ink.

I cut the Crumb Cake card stock into four card fronts.
I cut the Heavy Weight White card stock into 4 1/4 inch long by 2 1/4 inch tall.

I also took a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock and cut that at 4 1/4 long by 2 1/2 inches tall.
I added Stampin UP foam to the back of the pine cone images.
Nice large desk to have adhesive on alot of my pieces so I can make assembly fast.

I have standard Heavy Weight White card bases.
The inside and back of the card.
The front and back of the envelope.
Finished Card.

Global Design Project #55

The theme for Global Design Project #55 is Random Act of Kindness, basicly give away what you create, do not hord it.

Play along CLICK HERE.

Taking inspiration from the Challenge I entered before this one, CLICK HERE to see, I decided to go with the same sketch.

I am using Heavy Weight Cream card stock and embossed some Early Espresso card stock with a Paper Studio embossing folder.
I am using a discontinued My Favorite Things stamp set called Buildable Blooms, ( I really wish I would have picked up the die's as well ).

Also a set from Stamps of Life that you get on your Yearly Anniversary for FREE, called thanks4threeyears.
I stamped in Early Espresso ink the thanks towards the bottom of the banner.
I am using Flirty Flamingo ink for the base of my flowers, starting with the one in the center to make sure they will be evenly spaced out.
Then just build up your flowers, I am also using Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight ink.
The stems are too long so I use scrap paper to cover my sentiment.

I always keep my scraps just for these reasons, I do once a year go threw or when ever there gets to be too many and thin them out, ( basicly give them to the kiddos and start fresh ).
Using some cream twine that I am wrapping two times just right above the thanks sentiment.

Use tape on the back for easy securement.
I added some foam on the back.

As you can see I am making multiples because this design is very easy.
Liquid Tombow Mono glue to adhere the embossed panel to the Heavy Weight Cream card stock top fold base.
Finished Card.

Close up, I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the center of the flowers.

Freshly Made Sketches #256

I loved the Sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches its #256, it is a perfect design to create different cards for different occasions.

Would you like to play along, CLICK HERE.

I started off by using an Early Espresso card stock base and running threw my Big Shot with a stripe embossing folder.

I also used some heavy weight cream card stock and cut out a banner.

I am using some canvas leaves from Target.
I heat embossed my sentiment in white on scrap Easrly Espresso card stock.

I will trim it down and add some banner ends.

I will also double foam tape on each side with a glue dot in the center.
Since this is embossed I went with Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to add the panel to a heavy weight cream card base.

I also glued down the banner with the same Tombow Liquid Glue.
I arranged the leaves and used Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhered them.

I added some balled up trim stuck down with an additional glue dot.

I placed the banner on top.
Finished card.

Close up.

Made a total of four cards, can easily make more.

Shopping Our Stash GDT Project Challenge #271

This week for Shopping Our Stash Challenge #271, it is a Apple for Teacher, or use fruits/veggies or make a teacher appreciation card.

I am still over the moon for being a Guest Design Team member and for the last challenge I am using some stamps I have not used in a very long time.

I started off using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles from both sets, the largest.

I am using some heavy weight weight card stock from Hobby Lobby and some Crumb Cake card stock from Stampin UP.
I am using a Stamps of Life stamp and die set called strawberries2stamp.

I used Real Red and Emerald Envy card stock along with Versa Fine Black Onyx ink.
Using a scrap of Crumb Cake card stock and matching ink along with a wood grain back ground stamp set.

I cut them into 1/4 inch strips after stamping.
I started off weaving them back and forth to see how many I would need.

I have them on my 4 by 5 1/4 inch stiched white rectangle for size comparison.
I decided I needed five each way and brought them close together.

I added the strawberries using some foam and then flipped it over and added more foam.
Again using the white rectangle for comparison I cut a angle pattern on each one.

I have added no liquid glue or tape runner just the foam holding it all together.
I am combing two stamps sets and its OK they will not scream when you cut them so go ahead get more life from them.

I am using the strawberries2stamp from Stamps of Life and a My Pink Stamper School Days set.

Shopping Our Stash GDT Project #270

For my third week as a guest designer for Shopping Our Stash the challenge was Fairies and Angels.

This was super hard for me, I do not have any stamps or die cuts of either.

So I turned to my Cricut Machine and looked threw my cartridges and found a Tooth Fairy image.

I always test cut on scrap heavy weight white paper until I know what sizes I need, it saves the good paper.

I am using A Child's Year, Page 77
3 1/2 inches

I am also using Elegant Edges, Page 24
5 inches
I first wanted to do black with the silver shadow but my cut size would be too big for a card front.

So I changed it up and did Silver with a black shadow.

Its weird how at 3 1/2 inches the black and white cuts part of the wing ripped but the silver paper did not.
Finished Card

I added foam to the back of the silver and adhered everything flat.

I used a 12X12 lilybeedesign pattern paper.

I will need to make my own envelope because I cut the scallop square at 5 inches.

I added a folderd 4X4 piece of white card stock to the back.
