Dog Card #1

I decided that I wanted to make a card for my Stampin Up demonstrator and she has some dogs and I also have friends that have dogs so this got me into thinking about dog cards and products and realizing I need to do some "shopping" I mean "research" for more dog themed crafty supplies.

 I am using my mat to help me judge on how big to make my doggy.

 I am using Blushing Bride card stock for the ears and tounge.

I am using black and white card stock from my stash.

I work at Target stocking the $1 section and this is actually a make up organizer thing and I have been using it to hold my materials for the cards I make.

 I used the Paper Smooches Uplifters stamp set and the Cat/Dog card dies.

There is also a Neat and Tangled speech bubble die.

Decided to heat emboss the sentiment with Versa Fine Black Onyx ink and Clear Embossing Powder on top.

Black embossing powders are very messy.

 Lost of Stampin Up foam dimensionals for this card.

Who wants a saggy card of happy mail in their mail box.

3 layers, that is what I cut all the pieces from.

Nice even dimension.

Tombow Mono Glue and my jewel picker to help out.

 I decided to give the tounge a trim to make it look better.

 I love these sentiments from this Paper Smooches set.

I am very sad that she is retireing her line and choosing a different path.

 The card base and ink is Soft Sky.
