Galaxy Card #1

Galaxy backgrounds are so fun and easy and very hard to mess up, as well you can use so many different mediums to achieve many different looks.

I used a ton of different companies products on this one card, inside and out.

 I added some heavy splatter effect.

 You do not need a fancy paint brush to make splatters.

This is a My Favorite Things die I am just not sure of the name. ( maybe wonky stitched rectangle dies )

I love it and just scored it on a reshop site on Face Book for half the price new and it was never used.

Taylored Expressions Rocket Die.

Tombow Mono Glue to adhere the pieces and Stampin Up Dimensionals behind the circle part and on the back of the rocket

I used my scraps of Stampin Up card stock to cut out the rocket.

Colors

- Sweet Sugar Plum
- Rich Razzleberry
- Crushed Curry
- Pumpkin Pie

I heat embossed using some white pigment ink and fine detail white embossing powder from Simon Says Stamp.

The stamp set I used came from a Queen and Company kit.

Not sure where the Stitched Oval die is from.

 I used the same My Favorite Things die to cut out two white inserts for my card.

Using the inks that match my Stampin Up card stock and the Tim Holtz ink for the galaxy background I decorated the inside of the card.

I picked a pale purple envelope and the rocket, fire, and stars came from a Lawn Fawn set called Out Of This World.

The Lawn Fawn stamp set I used for the sentiment on the back of the envelope is called Beam Me Up.
