2 Cards with the Layered Orchid Stencil

Brought out anouther flower tool and made two cards.

I started off with two alomost 6X6 pieces of Sea Salt card stock from Taylored Expressions.
I am using a layering stencil from Waffle Flower called Layered Orchid

I am using blending brushed from Taylored Expressions - there small ones.
For one card I am using Plum Punch ink.
I start heavier in the center and pull out around the edges.

I used Cilantro ink for the leaves - the darkest ink toward the petals.
Dijon ink for the center.
This was stencil two - it has the leaves and the center of the flower.

I have cut out tow sentiments and their shadow.
The sentiments and shadows came from Waffle Flower and Simon Says Stamp.
I cut two from Oreo and one from Neutrals Pearl Paper.
And the shadow from Vellum.

I used my Sizzix Side Kick to cut out the sentiments and the shadow.

I used some washi tape to carefully remove the little hairs from the die cuts.

I also used the pear paper to create a frame.
I used Waffle Flower A2 layering die to help me out along with Tombow Mono Liquid Glue.

I decided to go with some gems from Pink Fresh studio, they are a clear with some gold flexs in them.
I used my Pink and Main pick up tool and Barley Arts Glitter Glue to adhere them.

Here are the back of the cards, one in Watermelon and one in Plum Punch ink.
The background stamp came from a free gift from Altenew.

These are the inside of the cards.
I used some extra from the stenciled panel to line the inside.
I also used the Sea Salt card stock on the inside as well.

Frog Stand Up Birthday Card

I am trying to use product I have not used yet, so I went to my Paper Smooches stamp section and pulled out my Frog and Bear Card Die set.

I began by cutting out the Word Stand Up card die in Kiwi but changed my mind to Twig.

It cuts the fold lines and the little pop up to have you card stand up.

I cut out the Frog die out of Kiwi card stock and out of Kiwi felt.

I am using some double sided sticky tape on the back of the card stock to adhere the felt to it.

I cut the felt a little bigger because its easier to trim off excess at the end.

Adhere the frog bottom half only to the bottom half of the card.
I cut the layering dies for the front with the Vanilla card stock and realized there were to small.
My pattern paper is from a 6X6 pack called Just a Note Collection.

I am using my Sizzix Side Kick to cut out the face pieces from Felt in matching colors.
Kiwi, Licorice, Powder Sugar, and Flamingo.

My smile ripped so I added some double sided adhesive on the back of felt and cut it out again and no ripping this time.

I cut out the Happy Birthday from Green Apple card stock.
I used some banner sticker from a card kit die.

I die cut and inked up some lily pads and a lily.

Finished Card Front.

I die cut the lily from Cherry card stock and the lily pads from Green Apple card stock.
I added some birthday candle stickers from a card kit as well.

This is the card open.

This is the back of the card.

Amazing card with Create-in-Quads Ever in Bloom

I am really trying to get into using more florals so I decided to bring out Taylored Expressions Create-in-Quads Ever in Bloom stencil.

I am starting off with a 8 1/2 by 11 inch piece of Sugar Cube card stock from Taylored Expression.
I am also using my Waffle Flower Mixed Media Mat to hold my paper and stencil down.

I started off by placing my paper snug in the corner.
I am using Kiwi ink for the first layer.

The second layer of the stencil is in Cookie Monster,

The third layer i used a tiny blender brush and filled the stems in with Dill Pickle ink.
I left the flower centers blank.

The fourth stencil I used Pineapple ink.

I used Distress Texture Paste in Black with my finger to go back and add the flower centers.

I used the cordinating die cuts to cut out some of the panels.

I am using a Arched Stacklets die to cut out my foiled panel.
I used Deco Foil in Silver to foil my panel.
The panel is from Taylored Expressions The insiders Petal Prints.

Finished Card.

Side View.

Inside of the card, I used Dill Pickle as my card base.
For my layers around the front panel and sentiment panel I used Oreo card stock.

The back of the card.
A new sentiment from Altinew, they sent it to me as a free gift.
How cool is that.

Flower Fold-it Die

I decided I wanted to make a card with a flower.  I looked at my stash of flowers and found this easy Flower Fold-it die from the Stamps of Life, it is sized A1.

I pretty much followed the packaging that the A1 Flower Fold-it die came with.
The yellow polka dot paper came from a 12X12 Designer Series Paper pack from Stampin UP - A very Long Long time ago. I am pretty sure it is in the color Daffodil Delight.

I am primarily using Stampin Up paper for this card.

The big die is the actual card die and the panel you cut out to cover the fold.

I used from Stampin UP -
Pale Plum, Elegant Eggplant, Granny Apple Green, Call Me Clover, and Very Vanilla.
I used from the Stamps of Life -
Powder Sugar - the white for my card base, I was going to use Very Vanilla but it was not sturdy enough.

I used a two tag dies from my stash to cut out solid colors of card stock.
A bigger tag die for the neutrals and a smaller tag die for the solid color card stock.
I put the company initials on the back.

I am using a combination of Tombow Mono Liquid glue and Stampin Up dimenstionals to put my Flower together.

Adding different layers of dimension will give this simple card depth.

I like to use a combination of Tombow Mono Liquid glue and foam dimensionals to give a little wiggle room while placing the piece on my project.

For the fine line leaves and center of the flower, Barley Art Glitter glue with the fine tip is essential.

Finished Card.

Side View - I am leaving the card blank because you can use this card for many occasions.

It does stand up.

Closer view - I also used an enamel dot for the center of the flower to give dimension and shine.
