TE (Taylored Expressions) August Sketch Challenge

I found this challenge easy and enjoyable and made two cards from the same design.

Would you like to play along visit their face book group.

I started off with a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inch Gingersnap card panel from the Stamps of Life.
I am using Waffleflower Grip Mats on my Wendy Venchi Make Art Mat.
Taylored Expressions Blender Brushes.
Mixed Blooms Layering Stencil from Taylored Expressions.

My Sizzix Side Kick.
A die from Simon Says Stamp
I ran threw 4 times - remember I am making 2 cards.

Now here I am trying to find what circle to place behind.
I did try the cordinating card stock but because I ink blended on a kraft card panel the ink is darker.
So I used the same green ink and ink blended it on the kraft panel.
The Garden Green ink is from Stampin Up,

Here I am showing the different circles I was trying.

I glued two of the You Matters together with Tombow Mono Liquid glue,

I decide on Early Espresso card mat, to match the Early Espresso You Matter die cut.
Waffle Flower A2 layering dies to help cut out my panel and mats.

I decided on a Mango Melody card base and a Gingersnap inside panel.

I added the scraps to the inside as well, it ties the front of the card to the inside.

All glued down with Tombow Mono Liquid glue.
I ink blended the flower in Mango Melody and Grapefruit Groove ink form Stampin Up,

Stitcky strip in the middle.

The Stamps of Life ribbon from a card kit.

Stampin Up dimensionals on the back of my sentiment.

Decided I wanted flower centers and went all out with these retired Stampin Up gems - not sure what they were called.

MFT (My Favorite Things) Sketch Challenge #659

Playing along with MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #659.

I am not super excited about this card but happy I created.

Would you like to play along CLICK HERE.

I am not sure where the deckle edge die came from but I believe I got it off facebook market place.
Here I am laying out my design.

Here is the dies.

I am using a rectangle from Waffleflower.
I am using a triangle die that is a tree from Simon Says Stamp.

I cut the rectangle just a little to fit better in my design.

I am using Shimmer White card stock form Stampin UP.
A needle to pierce holes in to thread.

I used an ombre red and green and altered my designs.
I put foam dimensionals from Stampin Up behind the trees.
The thread came from Micheal's or Hobby Lobby.

I am using some Gold paper from Micheal's - I believe their brand.
My Sizzix Side Kick and a Star die that also came from the Triangle tree die.

I adhered a dimensional on the back.

A dab of Tombow Mono Liquid glue on top.

A block to hold it down until the glue dried.

Finished Card.

Side View - I used MFT card stock in the colors -
Milk Chocolate and Kraft.
Ink from MFT as well in the color Amarena Cherry.

The outside sentiment is from MFT - Cool Christmas Greetings
The inside sentiment is from the same tree and star set called Clean Line Christmas

My Favorite Things (MFT) Color Challenge #217

Again trying to get back into the creative mood and decided to play along with the MFT Color Challenge #217, I created a Christmas card with this Challenge.

Would you like to play along, Click Here.

I started off by stamping and punch Poinsetta pieces from the Reason For the Season stamp and punch set from Stampin Up - Sadly discontinued.

My colors are from MFT - Cotton Candy, Ripe Raspberry, Limelight, and Field Day.

Here is the stamp set from Stampin Up.

I am using Waffle Flower Grip Mat to hold my leaves and petals down while I ink them with their cordinating ink colors.

I cut out a circle and will use a combonation of Tomobow Mono Liquid Glue and Stampin UP dimensionals.

I decided to alternate the pinks.

I am just going with the flow and seeing if this will work.

and added the top.

I tucked a dimensional under to adhere the leaves, I decided to alternate the leaves colors as well.

I put the pointsetta in my splatter box and used Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold.

I am using my Sizzix Side kick to cut out my Merry Christmas die 3x.

Finished Card

MFT (My Favorite Things) Wednesday Sketch Challenge 658

Hoping to get back to crafty creating and decided to go with a Sketch Challenge,  not my original idea but I used what I had to recreate the Sketch.

Would you like to play around with the Sketch Challenge Click Here.

I began by cutting out the flowers.
These came from a very old card kit from MFT.

I used my Sizzix Side Kick because they were small enough.

I used MFT ink and card stock in Grape Jelly.
I used their Milk Chocolate and their White card stock as well.
From the Stamps of Life I used Lemonade and Kiwi ink and card stock.

My pattern Paper is also from MFT -
its their 6X6 pack called wood grain whimsy

Hard to tell from this photo but I used Stampin Up dimensionals to add some lift.

I inked the edges to give them dimension.
Adhered them with Tombow Mono Liquid Glue.

I added Stampin Up dimensionals to the back of the flowers.

Finished Card
