Flip It Card using Simon Says Stamp February 2014 Products

I am really trying to use what I have and shop less, I am still going to continue with my monthly kits which include Simion Says Stamp card kit and The Stamps Of Life stamp and die kit.

I eek, recently purchase the Triple Circle Framelit Flip It Die from The Stamps of Life and wanted to try it out.

I used the papers and stamps set from the kit and the ink was from Stampin Up Pretty In Pink and some bakers twine also from Stampin Up in the Calypso Coral Color.

Followed the directions on the package to cut my card stock and washit taped it to the framelit and ran threw my Cuttle Bug.

I believe this paper is Neenah Desert Storm.
The patterned paper is 6X6 and came in the Card Kit.

These are the other dies that come with the Flip it Die set.
I used Versa Fine Black Onyx ink for the YOU ARE and Versa Mark and Hero Arts White Embossing Powder to emboss the flower stamp.

The images come from the Card Kit.
Yes I rest my heating gun on my lap while it warms up.
Trying to find the right ink that matches the patterned paper.
Using a water brush to color in the flowers.
Up close view, I added the twine to hide an ink smudge. Nice save.
Finished Card.

Washi Tape Thank You Card

I am a member of the PTA for my daughters school and our local Police department came and did a wonderful demonstration regarding their K9 unit, there was almost 80 attendees that night which is very good.

I used my Stampin Up inks in Not Quite Navy, Always Artichoke, and Bravo Burgundy and I also used a Stampin Write marker in Not Quite Navy.

I used the arrow paper pieces from the Simon Says Stamp February 2014 Card Kit and a Kelly Purkey Stamp set called Dude (which was in a Simon Says Stamp Card Kit in 2013)

I also used some black pearls from The Paper Studio which is the Hobby Lobby brand.

My main supplies laid out!
Three different widths of washi tape.
This is just a simple two layer card, no dimension added.

This is the main panel that is 4 inches wide by 5 1/4 inches tall.

I put it on a scrap paper and laid out the strips gently pressing them down.
Pulling them off carefully.
Simion Says Stamps arrow embellishment's that came in the 2014 February kit.
Not Quite Navy ink, I used a pencil end to press down on the arrow.
The Not Quite Navy marker to color the edges.
Some cheap and not great at all refill of a off brand versa mark. (ima use it up)
Clear embossing powder on top and I held it down using my pokey tool while heat embossing it.
I forgot to take a full picture of the card.
The stamp set on the back of the card is a Technique Tuesday Stamp called Made With Love, the card stock base is Always Artichoke.
I am entering this card in the Word Art Wednesday Challenge #118, its an anything goes challenge that I try to participate in every week.
