GDP 067

This card challenge is from Global Design Project, its a theme challenge #067, all about trees.

If you would like to play along CLICK HERE.

When I think about trees I automaticly think Sympathy cards because they make them easy to create and can be a sympathy card for a guy, I used the leaves from Thoughtful Branches stamp set, I also paired it with some fall Stampin UP ink colors.

I got my inspiration from Pinterest, CLICK HERE to see, I did not care for the black and white but the layout stuck to me.

Again I have been using this Hampton Art Stamp Perfect tool like crazy since yesterday, I purchased from Micheal's for $13.

I am using Early Espresso Ink on Confettie Cream card stock.
The one on the left I stamped 4 x with the Stamp Perfect tool.

The one on the right is stamped 1 x with the Stamp Perfect tool.

I do need to reink my Early Espresso ink pad.
Using a mouse pad and regular stamping block for this part.
Add my sentiment panel on the card mat.

I stamped in Delightful Dijon, Bravo Burgundy, and Cajun Craze ink the leaves from Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set.
Adding foam to the back of the panel.

I did end up trimming some of the sentiment panel down.

I also matted it on a thin border of Delightful Dijon and my card base is in that color as well.
 Top folding card.

This Stamp Perfect tool makes it easy.

I stamped the leaf right on top with a regular block.
Inside of card.

Finished Card.

Close up, side view. I added some pearls from my stash.

MFT Sketch Challenge 313

Here I am with anouther card for a Sketch Challenge again, this one is from My Favorite Things and its #313.

If you would like to play along CLICK HERE.

I just purchased this Hampton Art Stamp Perfect tool from Micheal's the other day.

I am using Crumb Cake card stock and Early Espresso ink.
Was able to stamp twice perfectly.

This product only cost me $13 with a coupon and so in love, I wanted a MISTI for a very long time but never wanted to pay the price plus shipping.
Here is my layout so far.

I am also using Marina Mist and Very Vanilla card stock as well.
I use the Stamp Perfect tool again along with the stamp set called, Winter Warmth.
The stamp set has layering stamps.

I am using Marina Mist ink and Dapper Denim ink.
I die cut the mittens and able to use the negative space to help me get every thing aligned.
The one on the left is stamped once and the one on the right is stamped twice.
I added the mittens to the banner along with some Stampin Dimensionals.
As you can tell I changed up the colors and redid my stamping. the blue on blue on blue seemed like everything was getting lost.
Inside of the card, I used the Stamp Perfect tool again to double stamp both.
 Back of the card.

I double stamped the Yep, I made this stamp because my ink pad needs reinked but used a regular stamp block for the string.
Finished Card

CAS(E) this Sketch #202

A card challenge to enter, I think so!

I have not entered many challenges here lately and need to get back into the swing of things.

If you would like to play along with CAS(E) this Sketch #202 CLICK HERE.

OK, I just bought this Hampton Arts Stamp Perfect Positioning Tool today at Micheal's and its AWSOME.

Here is my test run, I saw Jennifer McGuire Ink do this tehnique on one of her videos a while back where she left the stamp and just moved the paper down.
Selective inking the sentiment in Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink.
Now taking a rainbow of ink colors from my Stampin UP ink collection.

The little piece of washi on the right hand side is where I need to place the flowers when I bring the panel down.
I made two cards at once because hey why not.

Here I am scoring the whole sheet of Black Heavy Weight card stock at 5 1/2 inches.

I then turn it and cut at 4 1/4 inches.
I added some foam squares to the back of the panel because this is a pretty simple card with no embellishments.
Finished Card.

Close UP.

Our December Story 2015 Day 3

Yay, anouther day down in the books, hey it may be the end of 2016 and I am just working on 2015 but I am documenting the memories for years to come.

Day 3.

Love layering alpha stickers, I put the blue circle on top of a red heart, they say Love this! and Around the Tree.
More word stickers and also a glitter snowflake in the color gold.

I also trim parts of the stickers off if they are too long.
Sticker layering, the black circle says this was amazing, and the white one below it says best day ever, paired with a red glitter snowflake.
I have some see threw stickers and I backed it and trimmed it on some blue card stock, placed it on top of some green plaid washi tape.

For the Day 3 I took some Tim Holtz Distress Paint in the color Wilted Violet and some Little Yellow Bicycle Canvas Alphas and painted them.

Some silver washi on the bottom.
All done

Close ups, I also layered two banner stickers and added a flag sticker to the photo on the right.

My December Daily supplies mostly consist of Simple Stories products and Stampin UP Project life supplies. The Simple Stories products I purchased from Simon Says Stamp, various supplies from their different collections include project life cards, stickers, and alphas. I have put all my Christmas supplies in one big box and have not kept the packageing. If you have any questions please ask and I will answer the best I can.

Our December Story 2015 Day 2

Day 2 is anouther simple spread with few embelishments but I think they still make the page unique and add that good vibe feel.

Deisgn G page protector from the Becky Higgins Project Life line.

I am using some Gold Puffy Foil Alpha's to spell out Day and some Stampin Up Gold Foil and see threw number stickers for the 2.
This 3X4 card is also from a Project Life Stampin UP kit.

I am using some Wax Paper to make sure this idea in my head will work.
It does and I love it.

I like to adhere the cards from the front and back of the pockets together when I am done with both sides so they will not move around as much and be more secure.
 Some wood trees from Micheal's.

These are larger ones, I took off the pop dot on the back.
And new this year to the $1 Spot at Target during Christmas these smalled wood trees.

No pop dots on back and they had both wood and green colored wood.

I choose a wood one.
Versa Mark ink and some Zing Green embossing powder.
 I did two coats.

Let the first heat embossing dry/cool and then apply anouther layer of ink and more powder and reheat to melt.
Tomobow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere the trees to my photos.

Some Tim Holtz word sticker phrases as main embellishments.
All Done

 Close up
Close up, it says deck the halls on the sticker next to the bigger tree.

Below says It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

I also added the smaller tree to the bottom left of the bottom photo.
I added a snowflake sticker from Simple Stories to my journaling card along with a clear gem from my stash.

the sticker on the photo below says holiday cheer.

Also on my journaling card I added a red and white stripe sticker from Stampin UP Project life kits right above the is in the air words.

Our December Story 2015 Day 1

I am back in my craft room if only for a few hours, decided to work on Day 1 of Our December Story 2015.

I kept it very simple.

Here I am adding different cards and rearanging, thinking of how I would like the layout to be.

I put all the photos in the 12X12 album a few months ago so that helps alot.

I am using a Design G page protector from Becky Higgins Project Life line.
The cards I have choosen are from the Stampin UP Project Life lines.

I round the corners with a corner rounder.

I am using some $1 Store silver paper taper and reinforceing it with Tombow Mono Glue.

I cut in half and angled the edges.
To keep with the silver them I decided to add some Silver Stickles to the lines that shoot out from the Deck the Halls card.

I am just trying to decide which snow man sticker to add to the photo.

These are from Hobby Lobby or Micheal's.
The finished spread.

Close up, I used some American Crafts Thickers in silver called Rockabye, I got them on clearence for $2.48.
Just adding a few word sticker embellishments to finish off the other photos.
Close up of the Snowman photo, I added a word phrase sticker as well.

The word phrase stickers are a random collection of companys from Stampin UP, Simple Stories, My Minds Eye, Micheal's, and Hobby Lobby.
I love layering project life cards, that way you use them and not hord them.

I wanted to add some green and read to bring out the other photos since the two other cards had the blue and white.
