Ellen Hutson Pin Sight June 2015 Challenge

Over at Ellen Hutson blog their June 2015 Pin Sights challenge is live and I was inspired by the colors and patterns and wanted to create my own pattern with the colors and add some texture.

I am using five different colors of ink and some painters tape as my well boarder stamp.
Its hard to see but I have a panel that is sized 4 by 5 1/4 in the center and I am using my T-Squared ruler to measure out lines to help leave a small white space between stamping.
Here is after the stamping with the masking tape.

I am making five cards and this makes the process simpler and faster.
I added some more stamping to a panel to cut out my flowers.

I also cut out the shadow type die in Vellum to go behind the die cut flowers.

CAS(E) this Sketch #128

Over at CAS(E) this Sketch #128 I decided to use the sketch to make a few sympathy cards.

I started off with a cream colored card stock layer sized 4 by 5 1/4.

I added a few small pieces of tape on each size to make sure I have lines straight.
I tore an additional piece of painters tape to just slightly over the card length.

I am kinda basicly using the tape as a stamp.
Lightly place the tape over the card stock and gently smooth it down and then gently pull it back off.
I used a honey comb stamp to add texture to the butterfly punch.

I used glue dots and foam for the butterfly's.

I also added some foam to pop up the panel off the card base.
Finished card front.

4th of July outfits 2014 Layout

I recently joined scrapbook.com and they have a good amount of challenges with different prizes, the challenges can range from layouts to cards of 3D projects.

I started off with a 12X12 sheet of Whisper White card stock by Stampin UP.

I am also using some designer paper called sent with love also by Stampin UP.
I use wax paper to help make sure I have enough thickers to spell out what I need.

These are by American Crafts called Rockabye.
When scrap booking you don't need much adhesive because if your layouts are in page protectors they should be just fine.
I write out my journaling before hand and that helps planning out my lines.

A T-Squared ruler helps out too.

I use a pencil at first.
I am using a Project life pen for the journaling.
I use a thinner American Crafts pen for the lines.

I wait about 5 minutes before erasing the lines with a white eraser.
Finished layout with flash on.

Finished layout with no flash.

I added some stars using Stampin UP Real Red and Pool Party ink along with an My Favorite Things stamp set called You Move Me.

Close up.

CAS(E) this Sketch #127

I really loved this sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch #127, its very versatile.  I decided to make some Christmas cards.

I started out with Stampin UP Festive of Trees stamp set and their ink in Old Olive and Baked Brown Sugar.

I put the brown on the trunk.
My card base is in Stampin UP Crumb Cake color and I also made some 1 inch squares.

I did make some vellum squares but it didn't work out very well in the design and I scraped them.
I used the coordinating punch for the tree and added some dimensional foam to the back.

The paper is from Studio Calico, a 6X6 pack called Wonderland.
I used my quick stick and some small pearl gems to the center of the flowers.

I used two Hero Arts stamp sets, their numbers are CL543 and CL722.
Finished card.

Ghost Paper Clips DIY

I have been on a paper clip kick and figured hey lets see what holiday dies, framelits, or punches I have and found a ghost from Paper Trey Ink. Its from the Polka Dot Parade line up.

Here's my pieces all cut out and ready to assemble.

I used some heavy weight card stock from Micheal's to cut out the ghosts and some scrap pattern paper from old card kits for the bows and flowers.
The bow is not glued down yet I am just using it as a marker to know where I need to stamp my face.
I am using my Quick Stick and Tombow Mono Glue to adhere the bow together.
The sticky part holds it together and the pokey part helps to hold it down before removing the sticky part.
Again I am using the flower as a guide to where to stamp my face.
I am using a small standard sized paper clip that I purchased from the dollar store.

Add a little glue and place down on the ghost back,
Add a little more glue and place the ghost on top.
This is not a big image but the top kinda closes in on its self and it looks kinda loopsy.

The image is barely two inches tall.

I added some foam dimensional near the top of ghost.
The kraft knife helps to get in to the small space.
Ya its hard to see but I used my gypsy to design some paper clip holders and going to cut them using some Stampin UP Halloween paper.

Again using the paper clips as guides to figure out the placements of my stamping.
Finished front and back.

SSS Wednesday challenge combined with Fresh Made Sketch Challenge

I am combing this card for two challenges.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is to make a masculine card and Freshly Made Sketches is where I got the Sketch, its number 189.

I am using a Stamp of Life die and stamp set called hot4ballons.

I used Stampin UP ink in Smokey Slate and Baked Brown Sugar.

The clouds were cut from Marina Mist card stock which is also by Stampin UP.
I added some foam to the back of the chevron balloon piece and will add it on top of the balloon.

The sentiments came from the same stamp set which I used Versa Fine Black Onyx ink.
Finished card

My card base is Smokey Slate, I adhered every thing flat.
