Rainbow Tombow Markers Thank You card

I saw a card with a small rainbow rectangle in the bottom right hand and want to create that with some dies that I have not used at all.

I also used Tombow Markers to create the rainbow, one in a bright color palate and one in a lighter color palate.

I am using some water color paper from my stash that I cut 3 3/4 wide by 5 1/2 inches tall.
I put away my markers before I wrote down the colors but here they are, I have a bin of all my Tombow Markers that I have purchased at Micheal's.
Here I am laying down the colors.
These are the lighter colors, I use a wide brush and not so much water and easily blended the colors, careful not too mix too much or get them puddled or muddy.
Here is the second card just laying down the colors.
 These are the brighter ones.
Using double sided adhesive on Heavy Weight Black card stock.
Cut my card bases to be top fold in she same Heavy Weight Black card stock.

Also cut Heavy Weight White card stock the same size as the water color panel on the front, these will go on the inside of the card.
Using the same double sided adhesive to cut out my sentiment.
Finished card.

I added some Black Wink of Stella to the flower.
The inside, I used the same markers but only breathed on them.
Second card.

 Some of the sparkle shows.
Not sure which is my favorite I like both of them.

Easter Egg Hunt 2015

I decided to dabble in a little scrapbooking and began looking threw some photos and found some from 2015, Easter Egg Hunting at a baseball field.

I went with a Pocket style layout for this one, I like to use pocket pages for scrapbooking because I feel it make the process a bit easier for me.

I am using a Becky Higgins Project Life page protector in Design G.

Deciding to not round corners for this layout and I am kinda liking it.
These were from the Target $1 Spot but I am not sure when I got them.

I added one to a piece of Acetate so that it will kind of look like the egg is floating in the pocket.
That's how it will look, kinda cool right.
These were also from the Target $1 Spot.

I cut a 4X6 piece of pattern paper in a light blue with white dots.
I am using a We R Memory Keepers typewriter to type up my journaling.

I made a few boo boo's but I am not concerned and I am letting them go.
I trimmed the journaling down and will adhere them down with some Tombow Mono Liquid Glue.
All done, I added a 2015 sticker numbers from Doodlebug Designs in the color Brown.
A close up, and I will not have to add any extra adhesive to these wood elements, let me tell ya they are sticky.
I used a sticker sheet from American Crafts, again anouther Targer $1 Spot item and clipped off the ends to make it look like I wanted it to.
All done, I may add more but for now I am calling this complete.

Again, I may add something to this photo but not sure what right now so it will remain just a photo with the eggs in the grass.
 Finished photo.
Was again thinking about adding something to this photo but not sure so I am just leaving it as is.
Better close up of the journaling card.

Rainbow Birthday Gifts card

I need more cards, not Holiday cards just regular every day card including Birthday Cards.

I pulled out this Christmas set and decided to Pinterest the set and see what people were doing with it, so I found this card and decided to recreate it.

I pulled out a ROYGBP "rainbow" color of card stocks from Stampin Up from my stash of scraps.

I used the die to cut out some squares.
I used my Hampton Art Stamp Perfect tool to stamp each scrap of card stock with the present outline with Versa Mark ink.
I added White embossing powder on top and embossed them all at once.
I stamped with just a block the ribbon part of the package and embossed them all in white embossing powder again.
I die cut them with the matching die.
I added some foam to the back of the presents and placed them on a panel of 4 by 5 1/2 White Heavy Weight card stock.

I also added some double sided adhesive in the center to adhere my embossed happy sentiment strip in the center.
Finished Card.

 Close up.
I put the panel on a Black Heavy Weight card base that is a side fold for a fun opening to this card.

I added a die cut "birthday" to the inside.

Purple Cactus card

I decided to play with a stamp set I just got from Stampin UP called Flowering Desert.

I used this card and I did copy alot of it but added a few different detail using the products I had in my stash.

I used a rectangle die from my stash that pokes holes on the outside.

I am not sure the company.

I am just making a visual note as to wear to add ink.
I am using a dollar store make up sponge so apply Pumpkin Pie ink that is lighter on the out side and a tad darker on the inside.
I used my Hampton Art Stamp Perfect tool to stamp the cactus a few times in Fresh Fig ink.

With out removing the stamp I cleaned it off and added Vera Mark ink and Clear embossing powder on top.
The end of the Stampin UP dimnesional sheets I save and put in a baggy and they are perfect for strips like this.

I used my grid mat to align the foam.

I used some thick brown twine from a Spellbinders kit to add some texture.
I have no clue where I got this foam, possibly the dollar store.

They are nice and thin.

This piece warped just a little after heat embossing.
I used an EK success punch that is a cactus for the flower part.
Finished Card.

I placed the panel on a Fresh Fig card base that is top folding.

I added the cactus flower with foam as well.
Anouther rectangle panel for the inside of the card.

Tool Box card for Guys in Red

I am trying this year to use supplies I have not used at all or barely used.

I searched Pinterest using the Stampin Up Nailed It stamp set and found this card.

I started off by prepping all my peices, I am going to make four of these tool box cards.
I used a Bazzil card stock in the color Rock Candy for the tools and some Silver Foil card stock from my stash.

I used Versa Fine Black Onyx ink to stamp the tool on the grey card stock and cut them out with the matching dies, to save on Foil paper I did not cut the whole tool out, only what I needed.
These will be top folding card bases also Bazzil card stock in the color Wax Lips.

I have four drawers, one sized 1 1/4 and three sized 1 inch.

The silver edges are 1/4 inch.

They are all 4 inches wide.
Tombow Mono Liquid glue to adhere the peices that are flat.

I used my Hampton Art Stamp Platform and a Kelly Purkey Dude stamp set along with the Versa Fine Black Onyx ink.

I stamped 2X to get good black coverage.
Finally found a good use for most of my dimensional ends that I have been keeping in a half ziplock bag.
I have one drawer at the top but not adhered yet, just for placement.

I have the ruler and screwdriver near the end and will put the wide drawer over them.
I forgot to slide in the hammer before placing the next drawer behind the hammer and the ruler.
They are all loose at the top but secured at the bottom.

I used a mini dimensional to secure the top of the tools.
Finished Card.

Close up, look at the detail from the ruler, this die does not cut the ruler out it just leaves the impression of the ruler marks but its easy to cut it out with your paper trimmer.
I also added a mat layer of Rock Candy card stock on the inside of the card as so you can write your message.
