Online Card Class Day 2 Video 1

This was a unique video and I made it a little simpler to achive by tweaking the process a little, if you want to see the original video you need to take the class.

Over at Online Card Classes there is a class going on right now called Stretch Your Dies.

If you would like to check it out or sign up click here.

I am using Lawn Fawn's Stitched Snowflakes and Leaves dies along with some Water color paper.
I am using this water color palate and the USPS did a real beating to it but it still works OK after I took out all the broken pieces.
I recently purchased some cheap wash cloths from Wal Mart to help not use so many baby wipes in my crafting room.
First I water down my piece, I have it taped to an old baking sheet.
Then I just drop in color and let the water do most of the work.
After I add all the color I use my mister to spray more water on and tilt the pan a bit to help the color blend and move more.
I let this dry naturally about an hour while I worked on more class projects and then cut out a bunch of leaves and snowflakes.
Got more then enough for my two cards.

I ran them threw my machine twice to ensure good cuts and it worked for me.
I temporarily adhered them to some copy paper then ran threw my machine again with a circle die.
Here I lightly traced the circle on my panel and then transfer to the circle, when the panel is dry and gently erase the lines.
Added some coordinating sentiments and some embroidery thread, rounded the corners and added some foam on the back.

Online Card Class Day 5 Video 1

I love this class, Stretch Your Dies, my card stash is growing again because I am making one or two cards per video.

If you would like to check it out or sign up click here.

OH, and if ANYONE knows what stamp and die set the flower set is from company wise please please tell me in the comments below I have no clue and cant rack my brain to as which company it belongs too.

This is my MYSTERY stamp and die set, I really don't know whose company it belongs too.

I am using Simon Says Stamp masking paper as well.
The masking paper comes in an 8 1/2X11 inch pack of 20 sheets.

I cut one sheet into 3 1/4 inch strips and I technically only needed one sheet, I have extras and I put them all in a bag labeled MASKS to use later.
I put them on my 4X5 1/4 panel and took off the backing which I saved to be able to put them back on and use them again.

I am also using the Tim Holtz Air Brush Marker thing and the Ranger Kraft Mat.
I am using a few different shades of the Tim Holtz markers.
Here is the finished one on the left and the masks moved to the right to create an additional card.
I am using a variety of different Stampin UP inks.

Always remembering to use two different shades for each color, a lighter and a darker.

The stamp set is a two step stamp set.

I used a mouse pad underneath to get a good solid impression.
Finished card on a Stampin UP card stock base and some Recollections enamel dots for the centers of the flowers.

Close up, the sentiment is from a Stampendous stamp set called "happy messages".

Online Card Class Day 6 video 3

I really do enjoy taking card classes and doing challenges because I use products that I haven't used since I purchased them, some products from a while ago (eek like a year).

Over at Online Card Classes there is a class going on right now called Stretch Your Dies.

If you would like to check it out or sign up click here.

Again not allot of pictures, I just enjoyed creating.

I am using Stampin UP card stock in blue colors.

I used a die from Stamps of Life that went with the monthly die hard club I am in, the stamp set is called flipflops2stamp.

I am also using Lawn Fawn Stitched rectangles.

I figured I would include this photo, I couldn't decide how to embellish this card, I tried a stamp/die cut boat and it didn't look right.

I also tried some Lawn Fawn cord.

I just went with foam on the back of the panel and the tone on tone Smokey Slate anchor stamp on the back.
The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn stamp set called "Float my Boat".
Inside stamps are from the same set.

The back stamp is from Technique Tuesday.

Online Card Class Day 3 video 3

This card can be a guy card and easily turned into a child or gal card.

Over at Online Card Classes there is a class going on right now called Stretch Your Dies.

If you would like to check it out or sign up click here.

I'm using Die Cuts With a View glitter paper and two nesting heart dies from Stampin UP.
The card base is a color by Stampin UP and my pattern paper strip is from a 6X6 pad called "dots and stripes" by American Crafts.

I am using the smallest star die and positioning it with washi and putting a cutting pad to the side of it.

This is made for the skinny dies.
You an sort of see the impression of the star die so I added some Tombow Mono glue to it and also the other side of the glitter star die cut.
I used two stamp sets from Simon Says Stamp the outside hearts are from "cupcake party" stamped in Cherry Cobbler from Stampin UP and the inside sentiment is from Watts Up.
Finished card.

Inside of card, using some more pattern paper and the center of the die cut star.

Online Card Class Day 5 Video 3

Over at Online Card Classes there is a class going on right now called Stretch Your Dies.

If you would like to check it out or sign up click here.

For this card I used a stamp and die set that I haven't yet and made two Christmas Cards.

This set is from Simon Says Stamp called Sketched Trees and you can purchase the coordinating dies as well.

I use just cheap jewelry cutters to de tab the dies from each other.
Doing all my die cutting at once.

I am using one of the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Dies.
Cutting up some scrap acetate to fit behind the cut out of the trees.
This 6X6 paper pack from American Crafts called "Christmas".
Easy way to add the strong tape was to add it around the tree and then place the acetate down.
I placed the panel on my cutting mat and added the pattern cut out trees with adhesive on the back and then placed my card base on top.
Finished card, I added foam to the main layer and a Hero Arts CL722 stamp on front, then used some Die Cuts With a View glitter paper and a Stampin UP star punch.

Online Card Class Day 4 Video 1

The card from Day 4 Video 1 was a super easy but packed with a WOW factor.

Over at Online Card Classes there is a class going on right now called Stretch Your Dies.

If you would like to check it out or sign up click here.

I used Stamps of Life card stock from a card kit and inked it with Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed.

The left is inked and the right is before I inked it.

The panel is 4X5 1/4.
I am using Simon Says Stamp You die and also coordinating stamp set called "You and Hello You".

I am heat embossing in white underneath the You die.
These are some Stamps of Life heart button dies that I have scattered around the die.
Adding a decent amount of foam to the back of the panel.
So I made four cards out of two panels.

Online Card Class Day 1 video 1

Over at Online Card Classes there is a class going on right now called Stretch Your Dies.

If you would like to check it out or sign up click here.

I managed to make two cards from the Day 1 video 1, I always try and make more then one card from each of the class videos, it helps to get my card stash up and use up supplies that I hoard.

I wont show all the secrets from the class because you really should go take it, it has life time access to the videos and class content and printable lessons.

Here I am taking some Stamps of Life Word Dies and cutting them multiple times from their card stock.

HINT: use wax paper in between layers, it REALLY helps.
Line them up and use your favorite adhesive to adhere them, make sure you go off the page to give it the look of pattern paper, randomness.

Its kind of like you embossed the paper.
Let the glue dry for a good five minutes.

HINT: I found out that by using my fabric cutter on my self healing mat gave me a cleaner cut then using my paper trimmer, sometimes it would rip the letters.
Today's video showed us how to use foam sheets in a new way, it was fun.

I used Lawn Fawn balloon dies and Lawn Timing's.

Added a block to hold it down while my string dried for a bit.
Finished card front, card stock base is also a color from Stamps of Life.

Close up, the inside is stamped with a Technique Tuesday stamps called birthday from their Say it line. The party was cut from black card stock from my scrap bin.
