Lady Bug Fold-it card #1

I brought out anouther Fold-it from my stash, this time a Lady Bug.

I decided to go with Bazzill Basics Paper for these two Lady Bugs
I cut out the card base and main layer in Marshmallow.
The fold is near the bottom of the Lady Bug so it can stand when recieved.

I used the intricate die with Peppermint card stock.

Circle dies from my stash - Hero Arts I believe.
I found a circle just smaller then the head that would cover the eyes and mouth.

The circles that came with the Fold-it die.
My Sizzix Side Kick and Licorice card stock.

A black brush marker from my stash to color the legs and antena.

Tombow Mono Liquid Glue and Dimensionals.

More liquid glue to adhere the spots.

After they are adhered and dry I turned the body over and trimmed of the edges.

Finished Card.

Close up.
Enamel Dots for the antena.

Inside stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink from Stampin Up.

The stamp sets for the sentiments are from the Stamps of Life.

Most of my Envelopes come from Hobby Lobby.

Butterfly Fold it #1

I am using anouther Fold It die from the Stamps of Life. This time a Butterfly.

I started off by using the main image die and making an impression so I know where the die cut pieces go.

This is what it looks like after running it threw the sand which.

This is the die.

I used the out line die to create the card base and the main panel.

Pattern Paper and some card stock.

I colored the eyes in with black marker.

I am scoring the bottom part of butterfly.

Fold it down and this will make our easle stand.

I added some Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to the bottom half.

The sentiment strip I used double foam adhesive.

I used a green ink to match.

Some enamel dots to dress up the butterfly.
Changed my mind on the eyes and added some small black gems.

Finished card standing up.

MFT (My Favorite Things) Sketch Challenge #585

I thought this sketch would be easy and it was actually a little harder then I thought but I powered threw and my design changed a little threw out the way.

I used some supplies I have used in the past and some that I have not used at all yet.

I was going to make two cards but in the end I only made one and saved the extra supplies for next time.

I am using a die from Stampin Up in a different way then planed.
I ended up using the circles instead of cutting it out of a Panel.

These stitched flower dies are from My Favorite Things a card kit I believe from a few years ago but not sure what they are called.

I decided to go with all Bazzill Basics Paper today.
I am using the top three colors along with a yellow that I pulled out later.

My Sizzix Sidekick machine worked perfectly to cut out the flowers.
Even did a good job getting the stitching to come threw.
I used my mat to measure how wide to cut my card stock.

Tombow Mono Liquid glue and some dimensionals for the flowers.

I was stumped on the decorating envelope and remembered I could dry emboss with my dies.

Not great photos but I love how it turned out.

Finished Card

Close up.
I used a word die and shadow along with a stamped sub sentiment.
Some silver splater for the background too.

Front of the envelope some more dry embossing.

Inside of the card has a mat and extra flower along with some more splatter.
The back of the card has splatter as well because well I messed up and had to much so I tried again on the other side for the front panel.
