inlaid floating die cut technique

Again a awsome technique from Jennifer McGuire Ink and I put it to the test in my craft room and it work well, the only thing I noticed was that the Press N Seal left a slight tacky effect.  I will have to try this with different paper and see how it works, I fixed the situation by using my powder bag to de activate some of the tackyness.

I am using a striped embossing folder and just inking it up with Crumb Cake ink on the raised areas.
I am not runing this threw my die cut machine, I am just pressing it closed and all over the surface kind of like a background stamp.
I used Stampin UP Fall Fest dies to cut out the inked paper.

I used Bazzill Candy Corn and Kiwi Crush.
I used an Chocolate Chip marker to free hand color the stems.
My panel is a Heavy Weight Cream card stock from Hobby Lobby cut to 4 by 5 1/4.

After arrangeing my images I added the Press N Seal on top.

I trimmed off the excess.
Here I got smart and figured out my sentiment first and then found a frame that fit around it.
After I cut the frame out I removed it from the mat and added foam to the back of the images.
I added it to anouther panel of Heavy Weight Cream card stock.
At Joann's they had this Kraft paper that is super heavy weight and I love it.

So I used it as my base.

I also cut anouther smaller die to define my sentiment and the larger die.
I cut three hello dies from the same Heavy Weight Cream card stock and glued them together with Tombow Mono Liquid Glue.

I added a Heavy Weight Cream card stock mat on the inside for easy message writing.

Fourth Tag of December

This tag for the Fourth day of December gives a rustic feel, I used a jar stamp and die from Lawn Fawn and paired it with a tree stamp set from My Favorite Things as well as some Gold embossing powder.  Fall ribbon with gold adds a nice touch.

I started off with Crumb Cake card stock and Soft Suede ink.

I used Summertime Charm stamp and die set.
I used Soft Suede ink and Wild Wasabi ink to make the tree and stamp the sentiment.

I used my Stamp Perfect tool to stamp the tree to get a nice solid image.
I used the first setting on my heat tool to dry the trees a little before I prepped my tags for Gold heat embossing.
I used a ribbon punch to add a slot, which I had to double punch to make it wider to be able to add my ribbon.
Some pretty fall ribbon with gold accents that I attached with my Tiny Attacher stapler.

I cut two different slants in the ends of the ribbon off setting them.
This is the front of the finished tag.
The inside of the finished tag.
To be able to attach to a gift I added a little bit of double sided adhesive that you can peel off the protective backing when ready.

Third tag of December

This is a simple and easy tag that is also very three dimensional.

I used a pre made Kraft tag that came in a pack.

Stamping a sentiment that I cut, yes I did and it didn't scream.
I used pattern paper and cut out circles from a circle die that was in my stash.

Six per tag.
Super easy to fold in half.

My pattern paper was not super thick or thin I think that made a difference.
I also cut some holly leaves from some green card stock.
Using Tombow Mono Liquid glue to adhere six circle together.

Adding two stamping blocks to hold them down for just a few minutes until the glue dries.
Using some ink that matched the pattern paper I edged the outside.

The one on the left is not edged and the one on the right is.

Big difference right.
I used some score tape in the center to help with keeping the ornament attached.

Tombow Mono Liquid glue to the back.
I also added half a circle because some will show from behind the tag.
Foam to the back of the holly and slid under the ornament a little.
 Red buttons from my stash.
 The back of the tag.
The front of the tag.

I used some white and silver twine from my stash as well.

Second Tag of December

Here is my Second Tag, I used this as my starting point and went threw my stash to find things that I can use to create the tag.

 I am using three punches, 1.5, 2, 2.5

I am also using all scraps from my stash.
I am using Snow Place dies for the hat and stick hands.
The white and black card stock is Heavy Weight from Hobby Lobby.

The brown, orange, and red are from Stampin UP in the colors Real Red, Baked Brown Sugar, and Tangerine Tango.
I used the Owl Builder Punch from Stampin UP as well.
The grid mat and Tombow Mono Liquid Glue help me align the snowman.
All done, I used Real Red ink, some gems from my stash.

I decided to not add string because the To and From is on the front of the tag.

I am using Double Sided Adhesive Tape.

First Tag Of December

Last year at my Craft Fairs I sold Tag Bags for $6, they had 10 different tags in each bag, they sold great all 6 packs that I had.  They year before I tried to sell each tag seperatly for .50 and very few sold, so I decided to try the Tag Bags.

Here is a new design for this year, I made 10 of them, very quick and easy and I used all scraps.

I am using the recently retired Bird Builder Punch and some Real Red and Gumball Green card stock.

All scraps that I had paired with the full sheets of card stock.
I used their Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and some Crumb Cake card stock sized 2 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches long.
Crumb Cake ink on a Retired woodgrain back ground stamp.

I was able to get two tags at once.
A piece of scrap paper on top to keep my fingers from getting inky.
I used their dimensionals to lift the wing up.

I also used the Micheal's gems for the eyes and a eyelet setter tool to grab them easier.
I used Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere the bird to the tag along with the leaves.
I used about 10 inches of Linen Thread.
The two and from are stamped in Chocolate Chip ink and are from the Retired stamp set called Season Like Christmas.
All done.
I got my inspiration from this set of tags, CLICK HERE.

A clean and simple Poinsettia card

This card has alot of white space with a touch of green and red.

I used Heavy Weight white card stock for the card base and panel.

I used washi tape to adhere the poinsettia dies down.
Real Red card stock to versa mark and white emboss my sentiment.

I pulled out the strip of card stock from my scrap bag of real red.

My Fiskars stamp press made it easy to align the stamp and card stock.
Some red fun foam to lift up the sentiment.
Foam adhesive for the holly berries and leaves.

I added two berries with Tombow Mono Liquid glue and one with a mini dimensional.
I added the die cut panel to the card base with foam dimensionals.

Added some Xmas red stickles to the holly berries to give it that Christmas sparkle.
I love the dimnesion of this card.

I do not make alot of cards with this much white space or this simple.
