CAS(E) this Sketch #206

The moment I saw the Sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge I knew I wanted to re create Jennifer McGuires recent technique that she had shown on her You Tube channel.  I dug threw my stash and found some supplies and got to creating.

Would you like to join, CLICK HERE.

I am using my Stamp Perfect tool from Hampton Art.

I added some washi to help know where to place my card stock panel each time.

I am using Heavy Weight Weight card stock.  Treated with my powder tool each time before stamping with Versa Mark ink.
After heat embossing in White I re placed my flower stamps and again treated with my powder bag before stamping with Versa Mark.

I did this one more time.

I started out trying to make four cards and I only messed up one time which I think is pretty good.
Using an arrangement of Tim Holtz Distress Ink and Ink Blending tools.
Before I buffed it with my cloth to bring out the bright White embossing powder flower.

I used Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin, and Candied Apple.
I did dab a slight amount of water, barely damp to help buff off the red ink.
The purple panel I used Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord, and Victorian Velvet.

The pink panel I used Spun Sugar, Victorian Velvet, Worn Lipstick, and Abandoned Coral.
I did some stamp set surgery and stamped the cordinating sentiment with Versa Fine Black Onyx ink using my Fiskars Stamp Press.
I cut out Thanks from some Black Liquorice card stock and also added some fun foam to the back of the sentiment strips using some double sided tape.
I added the sentiment on a diagonal and then placed the next panel on top just slightly above.  Matching the corners.

I trimmed around the panel.
Adding more foam and double sided tape to the bigger panel.
I used a glue pen to add the thanks die cut.

I added some enamel dots.

I layed out the different colors on the panel to see what matched.
All done.

 Close up.
Close up of the other two.

Our December Story 2015 Day 15

And a second part of Our December Story 2015 is done, this time Day 15.

This is anouther just two photo spread, which makes it pretty simple and easy to create.

These are all Project Life cards from a Stampin UP collection.

I am trying to pull colors from the two photos that are in the layout
Since I did not have any red in the journaling area I decided to bring in a wood snowflake from Favorite Findings.

This came from the button section of Joanns.

I paired it with a Cosmo Cricket Tiny Text sticker.  Its a nice deep green.
All done with this top photo.
To bring in the blue I used some Studio Calico Alpha Stickers
I kept this one simple and used anouther Tiny Text sticker from Cosmo Cricket.

It says "I believe in you".

I added a yellow snowflake sticker from a Stampin Up sticker pack that goes with the Project Life collections.
All done, Design I page Protector from Becky Higgins.

Our December Story 2015 Day 16

I decided to work on a bit of scrapbooking today and pulled out the album called Our December Story.

2015 is still not done but I am OK with being behind because I work on what I feel and when that happens I believe your work will be the best it can be instead of rushing and doing a half job just to get it done.

Day 16 is just a two photo day.

I am using a new 12X12 paper pack from Micheal's called Shimmer Noel.

I cut it down to 4X4, I liked the grey with silver snowflakes, I believe it goes well with the colors of my photos.

I added a Project Life card that also had some silver too it.

I cut it down and layerd on top.
We woke up to more snow.

I used a glitter white snowflake and some Tombow Mono Multi Glue to adhere it to the photo.

The 16 is a blue glitter Alpha pack from Hobby Lobby, their brand.

I was going to put Day 16 but after I added the 16 I thought hey I like it just like this.
Our elf decided to play in the snow too, well sprinkle snow.

I am using Wax Paper to decided where to place things.

These are foam ombree snowflake sticker from Micheal's in the kids section.
I thought this card needed a bit more and went with a border punch and some light pink paper to bring out some of the pink in the sprinkle mess left by our Elf.
 Finished Top Card.

Kelly Purkey Alpha Stickers in a grey color.
 The middle card all done.
The bottom card all done, I also added a Tim Holtz word sticker to it.

It says "let it snow".
All done, Using a Design I from Becky Higgins Project Life Line.

Global Design Project 060

When I saw the Sketch from Global Designs Project I instantly thought of Valentines Day again, I did just make a Valentines card for anouther Sketch Challenge so I figured why not use the same stamp set and ink color again.

Sadly Primrose Petals ink and card stock is Retired from Stampin UP as well as Fresh Squeezed Stamp company no longer manufactures their stamp sets, I used "when hearts collide".

This design was sooo easy I made two cards at once, would you like to play along? CLICK HERE.

 Gathering up my supplies.
I used Silver card stock that I backed with double sided adhesive to help with no icky glue residue since these will be small strips.

Adding washi tape over this one mad it easy to get that 1/8 of an inch cut.
My 110 Pound White card stock is 1 1/2 inches wide.

The two silver strips are 1/8 and 1/2 inches wide.
Using my Stamp Perfect tool I aligned my card stock strip all the way to the end.

I stamped the first heart.
I moved it over 1 1/2 inches and then stamped the next heart.

I continued this tell the row was complete.

It gave me perfect spacing.
Using my grid mat to help me align my papers to make it straight.
Trusty scissors to cut off the excess, I cut each to 6 inches long just so it would be perfect length.
Finished Card.

CAS(E) this Sketch #205

When I saw this Sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch I knew I wanted to do the layerd stamping technique or what ever you call it and decided to also make a Valentines card as well.

Would you like to play along CLICK HERE.

I brought out my Supplies, unfortunatly Primrose Petals ink and card stock are Retired from Stampin UP and Fresh Squeezed Stamps no longer manufactures their stamp sets.  The one I used is called "when hearts collide".
 My layers.

5 1/4 X 4
Primrose Petals
2 3/4 X 1 3/4
4 X 3
5 1/2 X 4 1/2
Temporary adhesive to layer them together.
Add the stamps to the stamp press.

Holder for White Felt Flower with Red Felt Heart Clips

I am entering this into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge called Anything But A Card...
Would you like to play along, Please CLICK HERE.

I made these quick and easy Hair Clips using some Felt "stickers" from Hobby Lobby in their Valentine Section.

Would you like to see how,  CLICK HERE.

I purchased two packages at 30% off and made enough for my girls to have one of each and sell four but I needed a cute display/holder for them.

I am using some Heart Dies to cut out some Pattern Paper and Solid Paper that cordinate together.

I also cut 3/4 inch by 2 inch pieces as well.
My stamp press and some StazOn ink to stamp on the back.

Tombow Mono Liquid Glue works best since this is textured card stock.

Just a little line on the top and bottom on the skinny 3/4 inch by 2 inch piece.

Your clip will slid between it after it dries.
How the front and back looks when completed.
All Done.
