SSS Monday Challenge : Be Square

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog is called Be Square and I instantly thought about a Quilt and then thought about Valentines Day comming up so I put two and two together and came up with a card.

 I am using a 6X6 pattern paper pad from Micheal's that I got last spring.

Its called Flora.

 I cut a piece of typing paper to 5 3/4 by by 4 1/2 and added adhesive in lines down the paper.

My squares are cut 1 inch by 1 inch square.

 How it looks after I lined them up.

 I ran threw a 6X6 embossing folder.

It gives it some texture and at first I was bummed that the paper cracked but I a OK with it.

It makes it look like a well used Quilt.

 I used a stiched rectangle sized 5 1/2 by 4 1/4.

It gave it more texture.

 Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere the Quilted piece to a white card base.

Close Up/Side View.  I added a sentiment and matted it on some pink paper.
