Halloween Owl Fold-it Witch Card

You may have seen my Thanksgiving Owl Fold-it card.

I decided to make a Witch Owl using the Fold-it but putting the main image on a card base front.

I used an Older Quick Cutz die for the witch hat and broom.

I am using this 12X12 pattern paper from Joan's

This is an Older Quick Cutz die

It was fun trying to piece together what patterns to use.

I do not have any Pansy card stock and it has been sold out for a long time.
So the top scrap I used the ink swapp technique.
Bottom scrap I ink blended.

I used some Sticky Tape on the back and a bone folder to smooth the squiggles down.

How the back looks.

I folded over the hat.

Cut more paper and glue over it.

Finished Witches Hat - I used Stampin Up black dimensionals underneath.

A bunch of Stampin Up regular dimensionals on the back.

Finished card

I used a Storm card base and Pansy ink.

More pattern paper to tie the inside into the front of the card.
Pudgies Halloween4HSN stamp set for inside and back.
Decided to keep the front without a sentiment.

Owl Give Thanks Fold-it

I am on a Kick lately with using Fold-it cards from the Stamps of Life and create them into Holiday Cards.

This time I take the Owl Fold-it and Make it a Thanksgiving Owl.

I used the out side die - to create the shadow and card base.
I dd end up changing the color of the card base near the end of my project.
I used my Sizzix Big Shot Embossing mat and the main Owl die to dry embossing the image to see where to glue my pieces.

My Barely Art Fine tip glue pen for the legs.
Tombow Mono Liquid Glue for the rest.

For the inside on the card I am masking off the turkey just to get the Hat.

I inked it up.

Removed the tape and then stamped.

I selective inked the feet - easy to do.

From the Acorn Fold-it die set I found some leaves.

Christmas Piggie Fold-it card

You may have seen my Halloween Jail Bird Piggie Fold-it.

I wanted to create a Santa Piggie Fold-it right after.

I started off by using Candy, Licorice, and Cranberry card stock from the Stamps of Life.
The Piggie Fold-it is also from them.

I inked my Piggie with the same ink using some Taylored Expressions blender brushes.

Some Score tape one the back of the eyes and nostril to hold them in together.

I have some washi tape that is just too sticky and tears my paper so I am using that up to tape the back of the Piggie.

Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere all my pieces.

I am trying to decide if I want the belt up

or side ways

A Santa Hat punch from Stampin Up.
Glitter paper from my stash - not sure who it is from.

Piggie Fold-it Halloween Card

I decided to take the Piggie Fold-it from the Stamps of Life and turn it into a Halloween Card.

I began by cutting the inside layer of the Piggie Fold-it.
The Fold-it comes with two dies - a shadow and inside.
I used the Stamps of Life card stock - Candy, Licorice, and Powder Sugar.

I used Washie Tape and Stitcky Strip to hold the nose and eyes.

I inked the nose darker with the Candy ink.
Kept the nostriles the Candy card stock color.
Saved the Licorice eye centers to add.

This ink will dry back and smooth out.
I did after inking clean the brush on scratch paper to get most of the ink off then go over my inked areas as well to help smooth out the inking.

A black brush pen from my stash to color the hooves.

The white belly - turning into a shirt.
I am cutting 1/4 inch strips.
Saving every other one to create stripes.

My mini Side kick.
Glasses die from the pineapple2stamp set.

Mushroom shadow die from the mushroom2stamp die.

I created some grass with Artichoke card stock using the grass die from the Stamps of Life.
I also used the negative part of the grass to create a second layer.
