Teacher Christmas Cards Design #1

I always make the girls Teachers cards near each Holiday and for this Christmas I decided to leave them blank on the inside and outside, I mean no sentiment that way they can use them how ever they would like this Holiday Season.

Here is Design #1...  I make 5 of each design for a total of 5 Designs with 25 cards...

I am using from Micheal's that are new this year in their store Cards and Envelopes pre cut and scored and sized at 3.5 by 4 7/8.  They come with 30 in a pack which is nice when I mess up on accident designing each card.  They retail $4.99.

I am using the Hampton Art Stamp Perfect Tool to make stamping quick and easy.

I have the first layer of the wreath at the top and the second layer at the bottom.
That way I can stamp two cards at once.
Once I have 10 cards stamped I clean are remove the stamps and add the berries on top.

I am using Old Olive, Pear Pizzaz, and Cherry Cobbler ink for the wreath colors.
I again used Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper White card stock and die cut them with the matching die and some washi tape during the die cutting process to make sure the die does not move around.

I am adding some foam at the top of the bow for some dimension.
All done

Close up.

I used some Range Stickles in the color Christmas Red.

I sent a Christmas Card #2

I loved this design so much that I wanted to make two, it was also simple and quick.

I mainly used Stampin Up product but I am sure if you look threw your stash you could find something to use as well.

I am using Whisper White card stock for the circle cut out and 110 pound White card stock for the inside panel.

I used Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder for the sentiments.
I am using Riding Hood Red ink to stamp my houses.

I used a blender pen to fix my imperfections, works wonders.
Look how seemless it looks since I touched up the roofs.

I used Gumball Green ink for the trees, I started off with the bigger tree first.
I then added the smaller trees and was happy with the stamping and felt it didn't need to be touched up.
I added the stars with Smokey Slate ink and again starting with the bigger star.
I tried to stay with odd numbers because they say thats pleaseing to the eye but if you count the trees I stamped six but they are three on each side.
I used Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to glue the Whisper White circle onto the Riding Hood Red scallop circle.
Using the circle die again I cut out some fun foam in a red color and added some double sided tape to each side, this will give the circle even demnsion and help the card not to sag going threw the mail.
Finished card with front of the envelope

Inside of card, I cut up some 12X12 pattern paper for the wood grain on the front and had enough extra that was scrap I just cut in half to put on the inside of the card.

I sent a Christmas Card #1

Isn't that a cool title, I sent a Christmas Card...

I made this one using two stamp sets from My Favorite Things and they are called Christmas Cuteness and Jingle all the Way.

I started off with 110 pound Cream card stock and used my embossing powder tool to coat the card stock before stamping the reindeer in VersaMark ink.
I would stamp a few and then add some Zing embossing powder on them in the color Chestnut.

This allows me to see where I have already stamped since Versamark is a clear sticky ink.
I used my heat tool to melt and set the powder tell it is shiny.

I cut the card stock bigger because I plan to die cut the panel with a stiched die.
I am using the Kuretake watercolor set to color in the reindeers.

I used number 47 and 30 for the reindeer.
Don't worry about that mess up on one of the noses I will cover that up with my sentiment.
I am using Ranger embossing powder in the color Gold on the same card stock as my base.
I decided to add some gold splatter to the back ground to bring in some shine, I used number 91 for that.
I stamped and embossed the inside in the same colors I used on the out side.
I tried to add some gold thread but I did not like it so I took it off.

Easy to try things and remove them if they are not all they way glued down.
Finished Card

 Close up.

I also put the main panel on foam and the sentiment as well.

I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles to cut out the reindeer back ground once it was completly dry.

Stamping the back of the card and the back of the envelope.
I added a embossed reindeer to the front of the card as well.

Paper Smooches Christmas Card #1

I decided to use the Paper Smooches Holly and Merry Christmas dies to make a sort of one layer card, for the sentiment on the inside I used a Paper Smooches stamp set called Holiday Cheer.

Would you like to purchase from Paper Smooches, CLICK HERE.

Here are the Holly Dies, I left them attached to make it easier.

I am using 110 pound White card stock, I thought I had the same card base but turns out I used a Heavy Weight White card stock for the base, but of course only I will notice that difference.
I am only useing the small holly leave, the one berry with the hole in it and the holly leave outline, the rest I put into a bag with my die for use next time.
Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere them to the card front.

Towards the lower right corner.
Double sided adhesive on some gold and black card stock.

I am off setting them just slightly to give a shadow look.
All done

Santa Hat Paper Clip

Reindeer, Bird Builder Punch, Owl Builder Punch, Basic Black, Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Stamp Up, Paper Clips, DIY:

These adorable Santa Hat Paper Clips will make great Teacher Gifts for their planners and go great in your planner as well.  They also add a nice touch to gift tags or presents.

I am using a Santa Hat punch from last years Christmas Catalogue from Stampin UP.

I used Real Red and Sliver Glimmer paper as well as their dimensionals.

two of each punched out for one paper clip.
I stick the two hats together and add a small line of glue to the bottom of each side of the hat.

This way I can easily align the sparkly rim.
Same with the ball, I add a small amount of glue on each end.

I seperate and keep them next to each other while they dry and I assemble the rest.

I add one dimensional to the top of one hat.

Tombow Mono Liquid glue.
I used to store my paper clips in a baggie but now I store them by color in these cool cases.

All done, they would go perfect with my Reindeer Paper Clips, CLICK HERE to see how I made those.

Acorn Paper Clips

Paper Clips are a very hot item at my craft shows and I also LOVE to give them to my girls Teachers as well.

I am mainly using Stampin UP product but also a few other companys that I have in my stash as well.

I am using the Acorn Builder punch.

I punched out 20 of the main shape in Crumb Cake card stock.

You need two punches per paper clip, one for the front and one for the back.
Unfortunatly this awsome and versatile punch retired in May of 2017 but I still use and blog about things that are not on the market because you may have them or something like it in your stash.
I am using a Sea Side embossing folder from Stampin Up.

You can fit quite a few in the folder.
I also punched out 20 of the acorn tops in the color More Mustard.

Which also retired a few years back, I am down to just a few scraps of this amazing fall color.
I am using a dots embossing folder by Cuttlebug.
Here are a few ways I may make the paper clips.

I ultimnatly went with the second choice.
Here I inked the cordinating card stock with its matching ink.
The left acorn has no inking at all.

The right has inking on both the top and bottom of the acorn.
I am using some small circle foam circles from Micheal's to attach the top of the acorn to the bottom part.
Here I am using Stampin UP foam dimensionals on the back to make the acorn more stable when I hot glue the paper clip to the back.

I am using a good old fashion orange paper clip from the $1 store.
A dab of hot glue to attach the paper clip and place the second acorn on top.
All done.
