Our December Story 2016, Day 23 Extra insert

Alivia saw Santa at the mall and I wanted to do a insert just for that photo.

I am adding a glitter snowfalke using my Fine Tip Glue Pen from Stampin UP.

I then put a candle over it to hold it down while it dries.
Using some Stampin UP foam dimensionals on the back of a cut out card that I got from a 12X12 American Crafts pad that came from Target.

I wrote my journaling with a Zig pen.
The green back ground paper is also from a 12X12 Paper pack from Micheal's, their brand called Traditional Holiday.

I am using a circle sticker from a Simple Stories pack to make the corner between the snowflake and the journal card more semitrical.
I used my We R Memory Keepers type writter to add the dater to a gold journal sticker.
I attached the journal sticker to a piece of copy paper and before typeing I tested by adding some letters and then adjusting my paper.
I added the date with some foam as well.
This cute white sparkly wood believe is from the Target $1 spot 2017.

Used Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere that to the picture/paper.
Finished layout

Pink Bird, Prayers card

I was going to enter anouther card challenge but could not think of a new idea so I did a CASE a copy and selective edit card.  I used what I had in my stash to re create a card from Pinterest.

I started with a Whisper White card stock mat sized 4 by 5 1/4.

I am using the Hero Arts CL866 stamp set and my Hero Arts Stamp Perfect Tool.
 I double stamped each color.

The first Pretty in Pink.

The next layer Sahara Sand.

And the third layer in Soft Suede.
The eye and beak layer is Versa Fine Black Onyx ink.
The branch in Chocolate Chip ink.
I added anouther branch in the top left.
While my project was still in the Stamping Tool I used a traditional block and stamped two more branches below in the upper left corner.
 The leaves in Lucky Limeade.
Again useing my stamping block after I stamped the top left one,  it was easier because for the bottom three I only need one leaf so I was able to selectively ink and stamp the leaf I needed.
I die cut the Hero Arts DC183 in Whisper White card stock as well and inked it halfway in my Pretty in Pink ink pad.

I used a make up sponge to gently dab half the word in the ink pad.
I soften the middle line by adding more ink with the make up sponge and gently while holding the die cut with one hand adding ink the that middle line.
I cut a second out and glued them together using a Zig 2 Way Glue pen
I stamped the back with one the stamps in that cordinating set in Chocolate Chip ink.

I also used some scrap foam adhesive to line my main panel.

I made a Pretty in Pink card base.

I used the same glue pen to glue the prayers to the front of the card.

I used Versa Fine Black Onyx ink again to add the sentiment above it.

MFT Sketch Challenge 366

I decided to play along with a Sketch Challenge for my first card of 2018, would you like to play along with My Favorite Things, Click Here to join.

I started off with a 4 by 5 1/4 inch white heavy weight card stock and some scrap card stock that I cut three circles with using a die from my stash.

I temporary adhered the circles with removable adhesive.
With the pre cut circle already on my card panel it was easy to make sure my circles were lined up nicely when I re ran them threw my big shot.
Some jewerly wire cutters to detach the cordinating dies from each other.
These dies are an older set from My Favorite Things and make it hard to line up after you stamped the image so I cut them from the same card stock as the main panel first before stamping.

I cut two of each just in case I mess up stamping.
Some foam on the back of the main panel.

I used plenty because no one wants a saggy card.
I used a heavy weight light blue card stock for my card base.

I also set the main panel on top and gently drew the circles with a pencil which will help me place my stamped images.
Busted out my copics to color my images.
Very simple coloring, I stamped my images with Staz On Jet Black ink first.
Tombow Mono Glue to adhere the tree and bird house.

I ended up cutting part of the string to the bird house because it was too long.

Anouther banner die from My Favorite Things for the sentiment.

One bird is flat on the card, and the other bird is raised and glued down.

I will leave the inside blank for now.
