2017 Halloween Thank You Cards for Teachers Design #4

This is the Fourth of Five designs for my 2017 Halloween Thank You Card's for my girls Teachers.

I make 12 3X3 cards in five designs, five for each Teacher and two to have in my stash.

These cards can be used by the Teachers how ever they choose, fellow Teachers, parents or family that Volunteer, or even their own family and friends.

It's just a simple way to say Thank You for all their awsome work with the kiddos during the school year.

I started out with Kraft card bases sized 3X3 and some scrap Heavy Weight Cream card stock.

I made sure to cut them to 3 inches wide, it did not matter the length just make sure to have it the width of your card.
I tared them up into strips to make some mummy bandages.

I will need four for each card, two with rips on each side and two that have rips on just one side and a flat edge on the other.

These are the strips with rips on each side.
These are the strips with rips on just one edge.
I used some Crumb Cake ink with a Tim Holtlz ink dobber to abbly ink to all the edges and a small amount of the front.
After they are inked I put them in my hand and crinkle them up.
Lay them down inked side faceing down and then added a thin strip of double sided adhesive.
Take off the release paper from the double sided adhesive and start with the edge strips and align them with the top and bottom part of your card.
Then add the strips with the rips on both sides.

It wont be perfect and that is what I am aiming for.

Cute not scary.
A little dab of Tombow Mono Liquid glue to adhere some google eyes.
All done

2017 Halloween Thank You Cards for Teachers Design #3

This is the Second of Five designs for my 2017 Halloween Thank You Card's for my girls Teachers.

I started out by using some scrap Heavy Weight White card stock and Versa Fine Black Onyx ink.

I cut out the ghosts using the cordinating dies.
I am using a Heavy Weight Yellow card stock to create my 3X3 card.

I used the left over Heavy Weight card stock to create the strip that says "spooktacular" along with the same Versa Fine ink.
Some 12X12 pattern paper that I cut down to 2 3/4 square.

I also added a foam dimensional to the back of the ghost.
I stamped the inside with a thanks stamp.
I used a grey ink to stamp the back of the white 3X3 envelope.

Also used a back of the card stamp from my stash.

2017 Halloween Thank You Cards for Teachers Design #2

This is the Second of Five designs for my 2017 Halloween Thank You Card's for my girls Teachers.

I started off with a Heavy Weight Kraft card base of 3 inches wide by 6 inches long and scored at 3 inches.

I am using a broom stamp and some Soft Suede ink to stamp a diagonal pattern.

Makeing sure to go off the edges to give the look of pattern paper.
Using my Hampton Art Stamp Perfect Tool to help me stamp the sentiment on a Heavy Weight Cream strip.
Using a Hexagon Punch to make banner ends on the end of the sentiment.
Some foam on the back of the sentiment strips.
I used a orange and purple Stampin Write marker to color the broom stick handles.

I also used Clear Wink of Stella glitter brush to add some sparkle to the broom bristles.

I used the same broom stamp from Technique Tuesday to stamp the back of the envelope.

I am using a Kraft 3X3 envelope.
Finished card.

2017 Halloween Thank You Card's for Teachers Design #1

This is the First of Five designs for my 2017 Halloween Thank You Card's for my girls Teachers.

I am using some Master's Touch water color paper.

I stamped the images first to give the ink some time to dry.

Leaving enough space so I can use the cordinating dies to cut them out.
I cut some pattern paper and some light blue 3X3 card bases.

I stamped the out side and in side of the cards.
I inked the edges to remove the white core that was left after I cut the pattern paper.
I water colored the bats and let them dry.

I adhered the pattern paper to the card bases while the bats were drying.
I used a White Gel pen to bring out the cute little fangs on the bats.
I used up some left over light blue card stock and cut a half inch strip to add my sentiment.

I used Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere them.

I cut the sentiment apart to get what I wanted.  Its ok they did not scream and I can use them as they were intended if I would like to.
After I cut them out I added a dimensional to the back of the bats.
Using some tweezers to add eyes to the bats.
Using some light grey ink to stamp the image on the back of the envelopes.
All done, cute but not scary.

Close up.

With the envelope.
