Disney Park Entrance, October 2015 Vacation Album

So I decided to go for anouther easy layout but this one turned out to be not so easy but its done and I am happy with it.

I decided to scrapbook four photos of the entrance to Disney Land.

Would you like to see the other Layouts from our October 2015 Vacation Album, CLICK HERE.

I wanted a 3 photo page protector for landscape 4X6 photos. So I decided to cut a Design C in half, make sure to cut after the fuse line.

These page protectors are from Becky Higgins her Project Life Line.

I recently purchased a small scoreboard for my card making and it also came with this nifty corner rounder and I ABSOLUTLEY love it, so smooth and easy to corner punch.

Its the Hobby Lobby Brand called Recollections.
Here are the photos I am working with. I like to like them up like this so I can get a feel at which each side will look like.
I am going to cut up this project life card. I find I get more use out of them this way and they do not go to waste and I use them a whole lot more in my projects.
I typed and printed out my journaling and will cut it into strips.

I used Hobby Lobby Heavy Weight White card stock.
This new to me We R Memory Keepers laser tool is AWSOME.

I used American Craft silver sparkle Thickers called Rockabye.

I am using some Doodlebug Sequins to add some fun and texture to a filler card.

The colors are Tangerine and Bumblebee.

I used some pattern paper from my stash cut down to 4X6 and corner rounded with the new punch.

The sequins I adhered with Tombow Mono Liquid Glue.

There is also the cut up 3X4 Project Life card that I also added some foam to the back.
I added more of the cut up Project Life card and a wooden pumpkin either from Micheal's or Hobby Lobby.

I took of the small foam dot on the back and adhered it with Tombow Mono Liquid Glue.

I added anouther typed up journal spot.
A close up, I just love the wooden pumpkin.
Again some pattern paper from my stash cut down to 4X6 and corner rounded.
A close up, the pumpkin stickers came from Hobby Lobby.

If you look closely they have sparkle on them and they are a bit puffy.
A close up of my journaling.
Front is all done

I used a star die, not sure where I got it and some silver glimmer paper to cut out some stars since I was having a difficult time decideing how to decorate these back photos.
I adhered them with some small amounts of Tombow Mono Liquid Glue.
I think it turned out cute and Miss Pivia loved them and that's all that matters
I again was haveing a hard time decideing what to do so I went on a limb and sponged some Marigold Morning ink on Marigold Morning card stock using a stencil I had in my stash.
I liked it alot and believe it brings out the orange in the character pumpkins.

the back of the layout, very simple since the front has more embellishments and I am OK with that

A close up of the spongeing.

12X12 mickey's HALLOWEEN party map layout

I decided to make a 12X12 layout of the park map for our Mickey's Halloween Party evening.

If you would like to see more of our Vacation to California please CLICK HERE.

I am using a 12X12 black card stock from Michela's its one of their hot buy picks from the company called Craft Smith.
Instead of wasting a large sheet of scrapbook paper I cut two 2 inch strips and adhered them down starting at the bottom and working my way up to the top.
The map layed out is bigger then 12X12 so I cut off the side panel on each side and magicaly got just the map part and it was perfectly 12X12.
I used a ruler and an exacto knife to help align and place my letters.
Finished Layout.

The white sticker letters are from Lily bee design's and the sparkly orange Thickers are from American Crafts and are called Wisecrack.
 Close up.
Pressing them down and also going to show that this chucky glitter does not come off.
How awsome is that.

Also I gently placed the Halloween letters down first to get the placements and then added the mickey's and party and it was easier to get placement this way.

Happy Summer Flip Flop Card

I must be on a summer kick because I decided to bring out my Stamps of Life flipflops2stamp set and search Pinterest and I found this card I also dug threw my Stampin UP inks and found some fun colors to go with some Stamps of Life card stock that I got in their card kits a while back.

I have stamped and die cut the flip flops and flowers using the Stamps of Life flipflops2stamp club set.
The ink I used is from Stampin UP ink Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Cameo Coral, and Sweet Sugarplum.

The card stock is from older Stamps of Life card kits.

I added a clear gem from my stash to the center of the flowers.
I am using this inexpensive Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby card scorer and I love it.

The card stock is Stampin UP Tip Top Taupe.
I also decided on the Gingham embossing folder from Cuttlebug.
The peice is just shy of 3 inches by 4 inches.

I used Stampin UPs fringe scissors to add some fun texture to the edge of this make shift beach towel.
 Stampin Dimensionals for the wing.

I used regular dry adhesive to adhere the pattern paper and card stock to the base of the card.

I added a mat of card stock to each card in the same color at the toe part of the flip flops.
Finished card #1

I used the same ink for each card to stamp the sentiments.
Instead of throwing away my extra pattern paper I used it to add some fun to the inside of my card.
 Card #2
 Card #3
Card #4
If it said enjoy on the front I added relax on the back and if it said relax on the front I added enjoy on the back.

Happy Summer Hello Watermelon Card

I have made this card before and love the way it turns out and it can be geared towards any occasion or person just by changing out the sentiment on the front or inside.

Here is the photo of the card I orginally found and used what I had on hand to recreate.

I am cutting some water color paper just shy of 4 inches.
And also just shy over 5 inches.

This way my black mat behind will be 1/8 of an inch showing all around.
I am using the older style Tim Holtz ink blending tool and it seemed to work just fine.

Lemon lime twist for the top.
Cucumber Crush right above that leaving just a smidge of the Lemon Lime Twist showing
Using a small section on the Lemon Lime Twist pad I inked more and added a small layer on top to make it darker.
I lightly added some Strawberry Slush ink below the Lemon Lime Twist ink leaveing barely any white showing and keeping it light.
I added Watermelon Wonder ink below that makeing sure to leave some light areas at the top and make it a gradiant color.
 So pretty.

Cucumber Crush, Strawberry Slush, Watermelon Wonder are Retired Stampin Up inks.

Lemon Lime Twist will retire June 2019.
I used Heavy Weight Black card stock from Hobby Lobby to cut out a Hello from Stamps of Life and some hearts from a Retired Owl Builder Punch.
Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere the accents to the card.
A little pokey tool to help align my up side down hearts to look like seeds.
Trying to decide which card base to use.

I went with Lemon Lime Twist card stock because that was the lightest inking that matched the card stock.

I went heavyier on the other colors.
Finished card, I love how smooth and blended it looks in real life, almost looks like it was water colored.

I used Stamps of Life watermelon2stamp stamp set for the inside and out side of the card.

And yes shh I did cut my stamps so I could ink in three colors.

And yes they did not scream.
