Taylored Expressions July Challenge Card #1

I decided to participate in Taylored Expressions Facebook challenge for July which is a fancy fold.

You do have to use at least one Taylored Expressions product.

I began by using a new tool, the Waffle Flower grip mat.
No need for taping your stencils of paper anymore.
This is a Taylored Expressions stencil TESN18.

I used the Stamps of Life Powder Sugar card stock and Stampin Up Mint Macaron Ink.
I used Taylored Expressions Blending Brush.

I kept this photo in but in the end I did decide to get rid of the tree and put the bear on the opposite side.
The bear came from the Die Set called Snow Squad also from Taylored Expressions.
I cut the grey from the Stamps of Life Cloud and stamped the checks in Pink Pirouette from Stampin UP.

I decided to embossing my sentiment.
I first used Mint Macaron ink then VersaMark ink.
I used Micheal's Recollections brand Glitz embossing powder.

I used some double sided taped to adhere the ribbon on the back and front of the card.
The ribbon came from a card kit from the Stamps of Life.
I used Stampin Up dimensional for the sentiment and the bear.

My card base is also Mint Macaron.
The card base if from the Stamps of Life it is called the Partial Fold Over Card Die Set.

Thank You from the Gang

I wanted to create a Thank You card a decided to use the Fold-it card die.

I at first wanted to use a bug on the front but then got the idea to use the woodland creatures.

I am using My Favorite Things card stock and ink for this.
I used the main die Thank You to cut out a shadow and card base.
I used Milk Chocolate and Kraft card stock color.

I used the next layer with pattern paper from My Favorite Things as well.
A 6X6 pack called Woodgrain Whimsy.

I used a yellow from My Favorite Things but it is not sold anymore.

This is the Woodgrain Whimsy pattern paper.
Their ink and card stock cordinate.

A nice light yellow.
Tombow Mono Liquid glue to adhere the letters to the wood grain.
I then adhered the Thank You to the Milk Chocolate shadow.

I used my scoreboard to score part of the front of the card stock.
I added glue to the bottom half.

I am using the Stamps of Life 66 pattern paper from a card kit called Remember When Collection.
I have the dies to cut out some of the images.
I chose to cut them without the shadow.

I used a Kraft envelope to make sure when gluing that I was not going outside of the envelope.

Just add glue to the sides that will adhere.

I used Milk Chocolate ink.
My Vanilla card stock "From the GANG" is from the Stamps of Life.
The die I used came from Waffleflower, a snowflake set.

The finished card.

4th of July Sea Turtle

Got the new Sea Turtle Fold-it from the Stamps of Life and had to make a 4th of July Card.

I am using the Stamps of Life card stock and inks to decorate the Sea Turtle.

Spearmint card stock for the shadow layer. A nice sturdy card stock.
Artichoke for his main body.
.
I used Twig for his shell, Spearmint ink for the spots on his legs.

Blueberry, Cherry, and Powder Sugar for his spots on his shell.
I used dimensionals to give it some lift.

The look so good.

Some Taylored Expressions clay white stars to add to the Blueberry hexagons.

I used a small square Versa Mark pad and some Hero Arts Sand Embossing Powder.

It make it look like he was just crawling from the beach.

Looks so cute with his Google Eye.
