Halloween Book Mark Ghost #1

Its never to early to think about the Holidays, I find I make things all year round and last minute of course.

Yesterday I began making four book marks and realized they would fit in the #10 envelopes that Slim Line Cards fit in with no extra postage if it is not too bulky it will take a traditional forever stamp.

I used my Big Shot die cutting machine since these were not intricate dies.
I have these two dished that are good for putting your finished die cuts in and also the garbage pieces.

Tangelo Twist card stock from Stampin Up.
I am using some 110 pound grey card stock from Joanns and also some patter paper 12X12 from Micheals called Hocus Pocus.

I also cut the shadow for the boo and punched out ghost eyes with the grey.

This is my random die box, I believe these are My Favorite Things dies but not sure.

I just found a Oval that would be wide enough for my book mark.
I did some partial die cutting because to create the ghost I just need the top rounded part.

I am using a shimmery Vellum from Hobby Lobby.
An older Stampin Up punch that make the perfect size eyes.

I basicly went straight in as far as the punch would go.
My reverse tweezers help hold the die cut.

Tombow Mono Liquid Glue and I also dabbed off the extra glue onto a piece of scratch paper.
This makes just enough glue on the back of the die cut so it will not ooze out.
Since this velum is shinny I just added a thin amount of glue all over the image.

I adhered the two pieces of the book mark together using Sticky Taped on the edge and Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to the inside and then added them together.
Finished Book Mark

Back of Book Mark

I found that the pretzel bags from Micheal's work perfect to keep the Book Marks safe.

I added some sticky tap to the top, fold over once then add more sticky tape and fold all the way down.

Halloween Slim Line Card #1

Again I decided to make anouther Slim Line Card.

This one I did alot of Die Cutting and was able to make 2 cards because of it.

I am using a variety of Stampin Up card stock and the cordinating ink to bring the die cuts to life.
Washi Tape behind to connect the pieces together.
The die is from Tim Holtz and its called Halloween Hangouts.
I used Taylored Expressions blender brushes for my inking.

The quick stick help with the tiny pieces.
This is what the die looks like.

I am using my Hampton Art stamping tool to help me with my embossing of the sentiments.
 Some Stampin Up dimensional adhesive.

These are by far my favorite.
Score Tape on the back of the panel.

I also used my score board to make some debosed lines on the back ground to give some texture.
I found some stencils and decided to decorate the outside and back of my envelope.
If you have a stencil that can repeat and is a 6X6 you can make it work.

Just by matching up the pattern of the stencil to continue it.

Just be careful to not go all the way to the edges where you had to stencil before.
Front of card and front of envelope.
Back of card and back of envelope.

The envelopes came from Walmart in a 40 pack.
 A little close up view.
In side of card.
Finished Card.

Slimline Mermaid Tail Card

I decided to try out the newest trend of Slim Line cards.

I am using my Gemini Junior die cutting machine for these Taylored Expressions die because they are more detailed and I want a clean cut.
The blending brushes have been amazing for me.

I am using a traditional #10 envelope that I purchased a 40 pack from Walmart.

This took me a few trys on how to figure out getting a continous stencil.
I added some gold glitter paper on the back to give it some pop and sparkle.
This is my box of dies that I think are mainly My Favorite things.

I found one that would cut out the sentiment.

I also used my favorite go to black ink Versa Fine Black Onyx.
To save of paper I cut out the center.
I also did the front of the envelope.

Moving the stencil up and using less ink each time.
Finished back of the envelope.

I believe it is becoming more fun to decorate the inside and back of the card and, front and back of the envelope too.
Finished card

Close up.

And the inside of the card.

Christmas in July, A decorated Dog House!

I have a lot of friends that are dog owners and decided to get some more supplies just for them.

I am using a variety of products from companies that make great products.

Here is the Taylored Expressions Build a Dog House die set.

I am using a variety of Stampin Up card stock.

I am also using the Lawn Fawn Build a House Christmas Add On die.
Light amounts of Tombow Mono Liquied glue works best.
I think these pieces are ment to go over the roof part but I did not like that so I just butted them to the top and trimmed them at the bottom.
 Stampin Up card stock

Really Rust
Early Espresso
Pacific Point
Summer Sun
Emerald Envy
Basic Grey
Creamy Caramel
Marina Mist
Riding Hood Red
Also dabbing some of the glue off on copy paper helps with the tiny pieces.
I placed the wreath near the top of the house.
Do not worry the bow will cover the bulb hangers.
I cut the strands of lights in each color and then cut the lights off that I needed.

Put the extra lights in the stamp pocket for future cards.

Glossy accents over the bulbs.

Foam tape behind the name tag.

Lawn Fawn cupcake grass die.
Taylored Expressions cloud die and a good amount of foam adhesive on the back of the dog house.

No saggy cards sent by me.
Finished card.

This was a free die from Taylored Expressions.

The stamp set is from Cardz TV with Mary.
 Close up.
Front of the Envelope and card.

I used a Stamps of Life sentiment and bulbs stamp from Stampin UP.
Back of card and envelope.
