Halloween Book Mark Ghost #1

Its never to early to think about the Holidays, I find I make things all year round and last minute of course.

Yesterday I began making four book marks and realized they would fit in the #10 envelopes that Slim Line Cards fit in with no extra postage if it is not too bulky it will take a traditional forever stamp.

I used my Big Shot die cutting machine since these were not intricate dies.
I have these two dished that are good for putting your finished die cuts in and also the garbage pieces.

Tangelo Twist card stock from Stampin Up.
I am using some 110 pound grey card stock from Joanns and also some patter paper 12X12 from Micheals called Hocus Pocus.

I also cut the shadow for the boo and punched out ghost eyes with the grey.

This is my random die box, I believe these are My Favorite Things dies but not sure.

I just found a Oval that would be wide enough for my book mark.
I did some partial die cutting because to create the ghost I just need the top rounded part.

I am using a shimmery Vellum from Hobby Lobby.
An older Stampin Up punch that make the perfect size eyes.

I basicly went straight in as far as the punch would go.
My reverse tweezers help hold the die cut.

Tombow Mono Liquid Glue and I also dabbed off the extra glue onto a piece of scratch paper.
This makes just enough glue on the back of the die cut so it will not ooze out.
Since this velum is shinny I just added a thin amount of glue all over the image.

I adhered the two pieces of the book mark together using Sticky Taped on the edge and Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to the inside and then added them together.

I found that the pretzel bags from Micheal's work perfect to keep the Book Marks safe.

I added some sticky tap to the top, fold over once then add more sticky tape and fold all the way down.
