Candy Corn Fold It #1

I decided to use a new die set from Stamps of Life that I purchased from HSN. I have alot of her products and they work well with my Stampin Up ink and card stock.

I searched Pinterest and found this card and went from their, finding some dies from my stash that would work for the face, I opted out of adding the cute glittery cheecks, I just did no care for it.

I decided to keep this photo in because every time I make fold it cards I often forget the way to do it.

The left show my score line and the right shows how to align die with a side fold.

You can see a little over hang of the die after the fold.

I rembered after cutting the black base and lining up the dies that I needed to cut the base from white so my inside would be white.

I then cut out w black candy corn to add to the front.

Fold paper first and the dies say place fold here or place fold here.
So this fold it die can be cut so the card can ope side or top fold.

On  the left I have a side fold card base of white and the right I cut a single black piece to layer.

Same die two ways.
I love using things from my stash, old and new, current and not available.

This Yo Yo Yellow is so bright and cheery.

Inking the edges give dimension and depth and make your card come to life.
This Only Orange is anouther favorite.

Taylored expressions blender brushes are my new favorite tool, I have three sets.
Liquid glue has been a go to this year for me.

With the fold it dies there is a nice little border so making them line up is easy.
Stampin Up foam dimensionals are my favorite.

Double up on the nose to give extra height and shadow.
These eyes, so cute.
See the inking on the nose, it gives a rounded type texture almost an allusion.
This is also a Stamps of Life set.

Decorating the envelopes have been a big thing for me here lately.

A finished card inside and out.
The front of the envelope getting some love as well.
                                                                     Finished card
                                                               Front of card and envelope.
                                                      Back of card and envelope.

                                                                Inside of the card.
