I saw this idea a while ago and thought how genius, I made a Christmas Version.
I am just laying out some different circle dies and comparing to my stamp to find the best fit.
These are an old style My Favorite Things circle stack that I got along time ago on clearance.
I cut the circle out of a thinner piece of scrap card stock and used some removable adhesive to attach to the center of my 4X5 1/4 panel.
I stamped full strength in Baked Brown Sugar ink around in a circle.
I then stamped off in the same ink and stamped in between the full strength ink.
I used a banned punch to make a flag end on my sentiment stamped in Riding Hood Red.
I added three drops of re inker and some water and tested out some splatter to see if the color was right.
My main card base is a 110 pound heavy weight white and then I added a panel of Riding Hood Red sized to the front of the card, this can save on purchasing expensive card stock.
Its hard to see but I did about 4 sprays of shimmer mist about one feet away in my box.
I added some foam under my sentiment. |
Close up. I used from Stampin UP all Retired :( sorry : Riding Hood Red ink and card stock, Baked Brown Sugar ink, "Ornamental Pine" stamp set, and their foam dimensionals My demo is Jenny Rast Find a Stampin UP demo here http://www.stampinup.com/home/en-US/
