I used a punch and some different shades of brown card stock for the acorn.
I embossed the acorn with an embossing folder.
Two different folders to give the acorn different texture.
The acorn on the left is inked in the same color ink as the card stock and the acorn on the right is not inked and will be the back of the paper clip.
I used some leaf dies that also have texture to them.
Again inking them in the same color as the card stock.
The leaf on the left is inked and the leaf on the right is not inked.
I added a foam to the top of the leaf so the paper clip wouldn't sag.
I then added a small amount of hot glue to the top of the clip.
Add a little more glue on top and replace with another leaf.
I inked all the leaf's that way they would be the same either way you clipped them to the paper.
Here is the other leaf, I added a few extra foam pieces to this one because it is larger.
I used some $1 store paper clips. |
They are pretty awesome. |
