Shoppin Our Stash GDT Project Challenge #269

This weeks challenge for Shopping Our Stash is Cut and Paste, (Stencils and Dies Only No Stamping)

I am still thrilled to be a Guest Design Team Member for the month of September and hope you enjoy this card.

I am going to be using these dies, the balloons and string are from Lawn Fawn and the birthday is from Paper Trey Ink.
I used two sheets of heavy weight white card stock that I had adhered some double sided adhesive to.

I ran the die threw multiple times, make sure you save the dot and put it away, LOL I lost a few and had to cut more.

I am placing them on a standard size mat of heavy weight white card stock that I will trim down later.
Using the same heavy weight white card stock I cut out the balloons and inked them with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in the colors Salty Ocean, Broken China, and Evergreen Bough.

I lightly inked the left side to give it more dimension.
I am going to add a mat of silver card stock to the card and cut out the inside to use to cut the stings out of.

I used Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere the silver paper to the birthday paper.

I added the balloons on with foam and only glued the bottom section that would be hidden with glue and slid them under the balloons.

I placed the strings around one of the birthday die words so you could clearly see it.
I added some ends of foam to the back and placed it on top of a standard size top fold card base, same heavy weight card stock.
Close up, I like that the strings are not fully adhered down.
