Mummy Card

Entering my Mummy card into some different Challenges, Trying to get my MOJO back.

Cardz TV challenge
Cut it Up challenge
Exploring Cricut challenge - happy halloween

I used the Paper Doll Dress UP cartridge from Cricut. I cut the Mummy out from page 49 and 3 1/2 inches. I also cut from page 29 the body out using the black out feature. I cut it out 2 times one at 3 inches and decided it wasnt big enough then again at 3 1/2 inches.

I gently crinkled the paper in my hand after cutting to give him a more textured look. I used Studio G ink first in the grey and inked all over then lightly in the black, I used a Q-tip.

The mummy is on 1 thickness of foam squares.

The sentiment is from a rub on set from a couple years ago, im trying to use up my supplies and think outside the box, get my creative mojo going again.

The paper again is from a couple years ago, I love that its Halloween colors and has stars on it, which I added some diamond stickles to the stars to give it a little sparkle. Its cut at 4 inches wide by 4 1/2 long. I inked around the edges in the black Studio G ink to get rid of the white core.

I added some 3/8 inch black gross grain ribbon to make a border between the sentiment and the image/paper.

The cardstock is a greyish color from Recolections. The card is almost a standard A2 size i just shortened it a little to fit better in my envelope. Its 4 1/4 wide by 5 1/2 long.

Hope you enjoy!

Side view so you can see he is raised up a bit. Also so you can see the sparkles on the stars.       The inking can also be seen better.
My Messy desk after i finished the card. Those are the tools/products I used.
