Pre School Type Project Life Page #1 and #2

Getting started on a type of Project Life album for Alexis since she will begin Pre School in the fall.

I am using an 8 1/2 by 11 binder that I got from Hobby lobby for Half Off and a bunch of page protectors that were also Half Off.

Here is my first and second page, or I guess you could call it into to Pre School.

So I am going mostly mostly Cream Colored for back grounds and layering. So I took a whole pack of Recollections Cream paper and set it in the spot along with an empty bin where I keep Alexis Project Life Pre School stuff.

The above photo is a cheater method of reusing paper. I just cut the inside out and cut my mat from the inside piece. I layered my Patter paper over top of the cut piece and you cant tell because theres another paper behind it and it will always be in the album. I got this idea from Megan at Above Rubies Studio Blog.

The bottom picture shows I took just a sliver off the edge of the paper. The paper is 8 1/2 by 11 and so is the page protector but it is a very tight squeeze.

The above picture is some Wax paper and the below picture is me using the Wax paper to figure out spacing of letter before I actually put on my layout.  I got this idea from Mercytiara over on You Tube.  Those letters that spell Alexis are from Target dollar bin section that I got quite awhile back.

The below picture is me realizing that when I took the letter/number stickers out of the bag they were transparent.  So I just put them on the cream paper and cut them out. The transparent stickers are a Recollection brand that Micheals sells.

The bottom picture is the front page and I will put a photo of her first day on there when she starts.  The patterned paper is from The All Seasons pack from Recollections.  The top Pre School letters are a Foam dimensional sticker that is from Walmart Sticko by EK Success.

The below photo is the second page, again paper and My school letters are from same collection as the top page.  I will add a photo of her school in the near future. I will add the name when I clarify spelling as well.

Here's my You Tube Video Share.
