SketchNScrap July Sketch Challenge 2015

I found a new Scrapbook Challenge site and to top it off they have challenges threw out the month.  I mainly went there because of a sketch and found much more.

This year for 2015 I am incorporating traditional layouts any ware from size 5X7 to 12X12 with my monthly project life, last year I did weekly project life and I did very good at it and kept it up right about until December (I have most of the photos in but no journaling) and in June we went on Vacation and I haven't added any of those and sadly their cover in dust. That's why this year I have decide to do Monthly (project life events like birthday parties, trips, special occasions, ect) and it has worked well for me and I have kept up and still only one album unlike last year when my two albums are full.

This is a layout for 2014 I do have a 12X12 album with older scrapbook layouts from 2-4 years ago and I think I will add layouts that I do from 2014 and under in it.

On with the layout, I used the sketch pretty much exactly like they did.

Here I start with this removable mat and figure out how many pictures will fit onto a 12X12 layout.
I have been storing my scraps of pattern paper in either 12X12 page protectors of 8 1/2X11 protectors and this has made taking out the pad of paper allot easier as the paper doesn't fall out all over the place.
I have all my papers layed out.
I had an extra strip that I accidentally ripped while cutting it so I pre wrote my journaling on it to make sure it will fit.
Wax paper, I love it, I use it to make sure I have enough thickers and that my placement will work.
Added a little glue dot behind the knot of the tag to hold down the twine.
For the cluster in the too corners I went to my Halloween stash and found this felt cat sticker that I placed in the corner close to Alexis in the cat shirt.
For the arrows I saw the bows in my Halloween stash and thought these would work perfectly because each of their shirts has bows on the characters.
A close up, I made sure the title was aligned via the top, and so the TSHIRTS word is a little short but still level.
This cute little google eye spider matches Alivia's shirt and works for the cluster element from the sketch.
