Word Art Wednesday #169

I needed more Valentines cards, my friend recently bought most of my card stash so I need to get busy and get my stock back up.

Browsing Pinterest and saw this type of card, I used what I had to recreate the card.

And as always Word Art Wednesday has a new challenge every week and its always anything goes, this is #169.

 I am using a Stamps of Life set called umbrella4you and Stampin Up ink in Primrose Petals, Regal Rose, and Chocolate Chip.

Here Ive shown that I cut my stamps to make what I want to create do able. Its OK they can go back together again.

 Using the coordinating dies and some washi tape I cut out the umbrella's with my Big Shot.

I stamped the handle on the card stock it self and will end up putting the umbrella part on dimensional adhesive.

 Here is a stamp before I cut it up, it just didn't work for the space on my card.

 Here it is after I cut it up, and it fits perfectly back together again when I want it a long sentiment again.

Here I am stamping in Regal Rose first with a heart from the recently closed company Fresh Squeezed Stamps called When Hearts Collide.

I did some first, second, third and even fourth generation stamping to get a good gradiance of color without having to use so many different inks.

 Above I was just checking to see if i needed more before I adhered the umbrella.

I choose the matching colored card stock for my base and layer.

Finished card, using Versa Fine Black Onyx ink for the sentiment.

Side view, I used a Stampin UP punch and a Technique Tuesday stamp for the back.
