End of year gifts 2016 for Gymnastic Friends

I wanted to make easy end of year gifts for Alivia's Gymnastic friends and coaches and decided to look at Pinterest and found THIS free printable, and I also decided to take the printable and make it into two cars as well.

 I started off by printing them via my wireless printer and cutting them apart with my Fiskars trimmer

 I cut some 100 pound white card stock into 4 by 5 1/4 inch mats and ran them threw my Big Shot using a Life Style Crafts Polka Dot embossing folder.

My card base is a heavy weight black card stock and I also cut a 4 by 5 1/4 inch white mat for the inside of the card.

 I used some bakers twine in the color of the stripes on the printable to add a little more texture to the card since I would be hand delivering them and not need to worry about extra postage.

I just use regular tape to adhere it to the back of the embossed card stock mat.

 These are the negatives of my foam circles, I cut them in half and half again and will use them to pop up my printable.

 It a great idea to save the negatives from your foam sheets just for this purpose.

 Then I used some smaller foam for the back of the embossed card stock mat to put onto my card base.

 Then I noticed the printable was not standing out as much against the white embossed dots so I did some card surgery and removed it and added a black card stock mat and replaced it on top of the foam square.

 I purchased some 4X6 zip top bags from Micheal's and Alivia helped me, she put the chalk in and I added the printable and zipped them up.

 I try and involve the girls as much as possible, so Alivia counted out seven bags and lined them up then put the printables next to them and then one by one added the three peices of chalk in the bag which fit perfectly.

All packaged up and ready to go.

I purchase the chalk from Target in a big box for under $5.
