Go on over to Freshly Made Sketches and play along.
I have not used my distress inks in a while so I thought I would bring them out and do some simple water coloring.
I used Mowed Lawn, Broken China, and Abandoned Coral.
I used some Artis Loft water color paper and stamped enough images for six cards, six flowers and 12 leaves.
I took my water brush and made the distress ink re activate and that added a soft subtle color.
I let them completly dry before die cutting them with the cordinating dies.
I am using the Broken China distress ink and very lightly adding a blue haze effect to kind of ground the flowers and the sentiment.
This is a 4 by 5 1/4 inch mat that I will place on my traditional top fold A2 sized card, I will pop this up on foam.
I adhered the sentiment banner flat with some regular tape runner adhesive. The Thank You came from a Stamps of Life stamp set.
I placed the flower and leave up on foam, those images came from a stamp set from the Essentials by Ellen line called Bohemian Garden.
