You Card

I love looking threw Pinterest on my tablet while the girls are in the bathtub, I'm there making sure there safe and also getting card ideas.

I found THIS card on Pinterest. And knew I had the stamps sets, I changed up the paper and embellishments and tried for a more masculine feel.

Of course I will enter this into the Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge #125.

I did take some pictures but I must of got distracted while making it because I am missing the last half of my process pictures. Well such is life with a 5 1/2 Lexi girl and 2 1/2 pivia girl.

Oh I also changed up my craft room and the girls play room, Ill link to those videos later.

Lets get started.

Here I am seeing which ink will work better with my patterned paper which is from My Minds Eye 6X6 pad called Dolled Up. I also stamped them out and ended up choosing the Stampin up Chocolate Chip ink.

Here they are both stamped out the Chocolate Chip ink is on the right and the Early Espresso ink is on the right.

I curved the stamps set, which both are from a same stamp set called YOU from  Simon Says Stamp.

Right after I stamped the you I put Clear embossing powder on top and again after I stamped the "make me smile big", I then heat embossed them both. The new Stampin up Ink pads are very juicy and can be clear embossed right away.

I wrapped this white thread around the card base in three lines but ended up doing each line 4 times because this thread is very thin.  I got this at a thrift store for like .30 cents.

Close up, I added some FABULOUS flat sequins in the color of Espresso from Pretty Pink Posh, I used Glossy accents to adhere them along with my quick stick and tweezers to aid with the sticking down.

Close up, I also chose to use Stampin Up Chocolate Chip card stock as my card base. The stamped image is on Stampin Up Very Vanilla card stock and the inside cream piece is just some cream Recollections card stock from Micheals

Close up, just added a cream mat to the inside and some left over paper as well.
