MFT Sketch Challenge #229

I really do love this recent sketch challenge from My Favorite Things #229, I think its very versatile and a go to for when your in a stump.

This is one of my favorite flower stamp sets, I believe I use this at least once a month if not more.

Its the Sweet Rose stamp and die from My Favorite Things.

I cut out enough flowers and leaves for two cards.

As you see in the picture above I am using Tim Holtz water color paper and sectioned off a space with washi.

I am using Peerless water colors for the blue in the color Turquoise Blue.

Gently remove the tape at an angle to help prevent ripping.
I did have some ripping but you can tell because I used a kraft knife to smooth off the surface and then an eraser to finish it off.

Using a good amount of foam squares because it did curl a little.

I stamped the flowers in Stampin UP Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Certainly Celery, and Pretty In Pink.

The sentiments came from the same stamp set, stamped in Versa Mark Ink.

Inside of card.

Front and Front of envelope, the flowers are on a foam square as well.

Back of envelope.
