SSS Wednesday Challenge Inspiration Color Swatch

Well I don't have any Simon Says Stamp ink pads but I do have some of their stamps and dies.  Over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog they had a Inspiration Color Swatch challenge and I tried to match the colors they showed to what I have which is Stampin UP inks.

I also looked up some of the stamps set that I have on Pinterest to get some ideas and I found THIS, I did CASE this but change up the layout and the stamp sets. I believe this will be a go too so easy to mass produce and it makes a pretty stunning card.

I made four cards total, two of each color.

Here I stamped out six of each color on some scrap white card stock and cut them out with the coordinating die.

The color is Melon Mambo by Stampin UP and the flower set is from Simon Says Stamp called Floral Bookmarking.

I am using this as a guide to put my water coloring.
Here I am using a block and smooshed down some Crisp Cantaloupe ink by Stampin UP and sprayed with water to dilute.
I left this photo because I wanted to show that this was too dark so I went ahead and turned over the card stock and added more water and then it was much better.
Here is the second attempt, I am using 110 pound heavy weight white card stock from Micheal's their Recollection brand, that why I was lucky enough to be able to just turn over them paper and not have to re cut.
I am using the Simon Says Stamp Flower Friends stamp set and Versa Fine Black Onyx ink.

I cut off part of the thank you sentiment because I just wanted the thank you.

Also stamping on a mouse pad to get a nice crisp image.

The color is Pool Party by Stampin UP.
