Word Art Wednesday Challenge #181

Over at Word Art Wednesday its always an anything goes challenge, I have not been playing in those challenges much here lately but hope to change it.

I did not take as many pictures of this card because I made half before I had to pick up Pivia from YFS and the other half after she got home and fell asleep.

 I am going to make three cards at once.

I started off finding my stamp and using the block as a guide as to where to place my tape.

The paper is water color paper by Artis Loft 140 pound cold press cut at 3 3/4 X 5 1/2.

I wet the panel down and added some broken china distress ink by Tim Holtz using the smooshing technique.

Put ink on your block and smoosh to your paper, add water as needed to get the effect you want.

Stamp set is by Stampin UP called Bloom with Hope.

 Here is a picture of where I store my scrap neutral paper that is the Hobby Lobby brand or Micheal's brand.

Its in one of those plastic shoe box size containers.

I used a scrap of black and die cut also using some wax paper a thanks die by The Stamps of Life.

 I also used rusty hinge distress ink by Tim Holtz and smooshed it onto a block and added water and flicked it a little to create the orange/brown spots in the background.

I panted rusty hinge on the stems and center of the flowers, after the panel is dry.

Also by Tim Holtz I used mustard seed for the flowers and mowed lawn for the leaves.

Finished card, I used Multi Matte Medium to adhere the thanks die, I added scrap black to the left side of the card.
