MFT Stamps Color Challenge #186

Decided to also play along with MFT Stamps Color Challenge #186 today.  I also made two more Christmas card with this challenge.

Would you like to play along CLICK HERE.

The MFT Stamps colors were Limelight, Kraft, Princess Pink, and Cotton Candy.
I threw in a White card stock base as well.
I am using my stash of MFT Stamps card stock that I have accumilated from all the kits I have purchased threw out the years.

A2 layering dies from my stash.

This tree die is from MFT Stamps I believe from 2021, a more recent die.
I cut two of the princes pink for the front and 2 of the cotton candy - one for the front and one for the inside of the card.

A hill die from the Stamps of Life.
I wanted snow and grass.
had to figure out a way to bring in the Limelight.

Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere them together.

Tried Snow-Tex.

Nope - Scratch.

Now some Wendy Vechi embossing paste in white.

Much Better - Simon Says Stamp falling snow stencil I thing is the name.

Single foam dimension on the hill and Princess Pink trees.
Cotton Candy has double layer foam adhesive.
Stampin Up dimensionals are what I used.

White Puff embossing powder from Hero Arts.
Color Box White Pigment ink.

Some light and lighter pink gems from Honey Bee Stamps.

Inside of the card.

Close up - side view of the card.

Finished Card.
I used MFT Stamps Bitty Holiday Wishes and Itty Bitty Holiday for my sentiment stamps.
Rocococ Rose ink from Stampin up for the inside and back of the card.

MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge #588

I decided to see what the weekly My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge was for this week #588 and decided to play along.

I created two Christmas cards by participating in this challenge.

Would you like to play along? CLICK HERE.

I have been purchasing MFT Stamps kits for awhile and hardly every use the paper.
I am now going to start to use their paper with each challenge I enter.
This is quite the stack.

This die set was in my MFT Stamps/Dies Christmas section.
The bag I have them in just says MFT Xmas Ornaments - not sure if thats the correct name.

Trying to decided which 6X6 pack to use.

Pulling some shimmer paper from my Tonic Studios stash.

I decided to go with the Christmas Cheer 6X6 pack because I had a pink card stock color that matched the best to it from my stash of MFT Stamps card stock.
Cut to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 and then diagonal - to get two triangles.

My Hampton Art Stamp Press and some Versa Fine Black Onyx ink.

I used my Sizzix SideKick to cut out the ornaments and toppers.
Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere the topper to the ornaments.

I used some dimenstionals on the back of the ornaments.

Some score tape and a thin line of Barley Art Glitter Glue.

Side View.

Inside of the card.
I added extra pattern paper on the inside and more of the glimmer paper.

Both cards I made.

Stamps of Life May 2022 card layout challenge

I decided to participate in the May 2022 Facebook Challenge, which is a Sketch challenge in the Stamps of Life fan club facebook page.

This first direction I was going did not end up working after I glued them down.
But do not fear I ended up using this panel on the inside after trimming my Ut Oh.

This is the You Got This Collection 6X6 paper pad I used.
After I cut into them I store them in Quart Zip Lock bags, which helps keep the scraps together.

An older set.
flowerpower2fill stamp and dies.

I store the card stock I am using for projects while I work on them like this in a fridge bin.
I used Powder Sugar, Lemonade, and Kiwi.

The Thinking of you stamp came from everyday4hsn stamp set.
I also used this on the inside and back of my card.

I used adhesive from my stash to build my card.
The white strip I ended up changing to green because it got lost behind my flower.

Finished Card

Side view.
I used a combo of dimensionals and liquid glue.

Inside of the card.
I was able to trim down the extra 2 inch pattern to save for a different project.

Hugs Card with Stencil

I recently saw a video of stencils and some products that can make dots on your project, except they use the dot product like stencil paste.

I used some removable adhesive on the pack of some 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 panels.
I placed the panels on my Wendy Vechi Make Art glass/magnet mat.

I am using Stampin Up inks.

These are the Taylored Expressions small blending brushes.

This stencil came from a kit from the Stamps of Life.

After blending I cleaned the stencil and replaced it.
Using some Ranger Stickels.

This one is the Diamond.
It looks more gold like.

This one is the Star Dust, more clear and silver like.

I cut some white panels for the inside of the card.

This is the die I will be using to cut the panel once it dries.
I am using it as a place setting for all my front panel pieces.

I also inked my die cuts as well.

Tombow Mono Liquid glue works well because of the glitter.
I held down for a minute to ensure a good seal.

Front of envelope.

One of the two cards I made.
