Star Stencil Baby Boy Card

This weeks challenge for Creative Challenge Club CCC06 is a color combo challenge. I almost didn't think I would be able to participate because i only had the ink pads. The colors were Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, and Basic Black. I did realize I had recently bought allot of Stamin Up card stock when they had there free shipping even and I had some Crushed Curry, Yay.

I am also going to enter this card into the Word Art Wednesday Challenge #143. As always its an anything goes challenge and the ladies always leave such sweet inspiration and comments on the entries blog posts.

I started off by taping down my Stampin Up star stencil and using my Tim Holtz circle blending tool and Bermuda Bay ink.
Before I remove the stencil
How I store my Stampin Up mini ink blending foams, I Velcro my mini ink foam to my Tim Holt ink pads but it wont work for my Stampin UP ink pads so I put them in a little baggie and label them and stick them in a fabric bin on my mix media shelf.
Just like unwrapping a present when you remove the stencil.

Using a Paper Trey Ink die and some Basic Black card stock from Stampin UP and also some Die Cuts With a View (DCWV) glitter paper. I cut out 3 in Basic Black and one in the Silver DCWV silver glitter paper.
Using Tombow Mono Multi Glue I adhered the 3 Basic Blacks together, it only take a minimal amount of glue. I off set the silver glitter die cut just a little.
Here is the stamp set that goes with the Baby die cut from Paper Trey Ink. I didn't keep the packaging and finding it hard to read so I measured the set and found out its the same size as a 3X4 journal card. So I used my Becky Higgins's 3X4 grid journal cards and inked up the whole stamp and stamped onto the card and I store it in my Avery Elle stamp/die envelopes.
Inside of the card.

Finished card, Card base is in Crushed Curry and the Basic Black is the mat around the Whisper White focal piece.

Close up, doesn't the 4 layers of baby die cut just make it pop and not having to use foam tape under that is even more awesome.
