Day 4 Card #2 part 1

From day 4 videos #2 from Shari Carrol regarding Stamps Specifically for Water coloring, doing the opposite and using a bold stamps with markers and gelatos. These two cards are with the markers. Stamping on your card then re moistening the image and stamping on another piece, tow cards for the price of one. Well I did forget to re moisten the image, I just stamped it right after the first one, oops oh well it works and I am behind so I am going to roll with it. So lets get started.

I havent entered a Word Art Wednesday Challenge in a while so I am going to enter this one this week challenge #132, go check out those gals there is always a ton of inspiration and its always an anything goes challenge as well as put this in the class gallery for the water color card class.

My four mats sized 3 inches wide by 5 1/2 tall, I only used two for the marker technique, I haven't completed the gelato technique yet but figured I could cut them at the same time.

I used four Tim Holtz markers for this technique mustard seed, spiced marmalade(not shown), picked raspberry, and spun sugar.

Spritzed it about 3 to 4 times, Using a :( retiring stamp set from Stampin Up called Flower Shop (it has a matching punch too).

Finished flowers. the one on the left is the first stamp and then I stamped right after onto the left piece, Shari Carrol re spritzed with water before stamping the second time and I totally spaced that step, oh well I am rolling with it because I am behind in class.

Using another :( retired Stampin Up set called Bloomin Marvelous, I pulled out the leaf and used Tim Holtz markers in vintage photo, mowed lawn, and peeled paint.

In the above picture I used the vintage photo on the stem and then on the outside line of the leaf I used mowed lawn, this photo I used the peeled paint in the center.

Finished

My oops moment, there always the back of the paper, foam squares and washi tape to hold down my ribbon.

Finished cards on the right is my first stamped images and on the left is my second time stamping without re inking/re misting the stamp.
