CAS(E) this Sketch #105

Over at CAS(E) this sketch the challenge #105 had a pretty easy sketch. I was searching for ideas to make a set of thank you cards for the baby shower that I will be going to on Sunday and this sketch worked out perfect.

I started off with a set of 25 pre packaged cards and envelopes that I purchased from Micheal's sized at 4X5 1/2.

I am using Color Box Frost White Pigment ink and two different stamps sets from Stampin UP, the dots and thank you are from Happy Watercolor and the flowers are from Too Kind.
I took out 15 of the pre cut/pre scored kraft card bases and set them aside, the others I ran a My Favorite Things rectangle die threw the remainder and cut out 15 rectangles, here I am just placing it on top to see if I have enough dots stamped on the background.
I am using Stampin UP Garden Green ink slightly off centered on top of the white ink. I didn't really give it time to dry but as you an see on the right on my scrap piece of paper I stamped of after I stamped on the paper to remove the extra white ink and not get ti on my green ink pad.
I am just replacing my rectangle back on to see how it looks.
Just laying out my stamps to make sure they fit.
I again used that scratch paper to test out how I would stamp the flowers. I decided to use my stamp-a-ma-jig to help with the flowers, after the first card I realized I only need the stamp-a-ma-jig for the second step of the stamping (the color flowers).
Stamping the stem and the thank you sentiment in Stampin UP Chocolate Chip ink and the bigger flower in the Color Box Frost White pigment ink.
I just gently lay the image sheet on top so I don't smear the ink, then place the tool next too it, remove the image sheet and stamp the colored flower on top.
I used Stampin UP Cherry Cobbler ink for the bigger flower and Elegant Eggplant for the smaller flower.

I added some foam squares to the back and placed in the center of my card.

  3. Very pretty card! That's the T-bar for alignment? It looks like a great tool to have. I have seen it at local store but it looked much more bulkier that that and that's why I hesitated. :( But looks very useful!
