SSS Wednesday Challenge: Something New

Over at Simon Says Stamp on their Wednesday Challenge blog this weeks theme/challenge is something new. I needed to make a baby girl card for a baby shower that I will be attending on Sunday and thought well its a new baby and I will use some new products that I just recently received in the mail along with some older products that I haven't used in a long time.

Here I am using the Simon Says Stamp baby die to cut out the word on some new 6X6 pattern paper that I purchased from Lilly bee designs (I will link her site, she is no longer producing her product, I purchased a grab box for under $40).

I used wax paper between the die and pattern paper making it easier to remove the die cut.
Here is my boo boo, I figured I would still include it, I added my die cut after I stamped my add on sentiments but did not realize my ink was still wet, but their are two sides to this paper so I flipped over and started again, the hearts and clouds are just sitting on top for placement, they are not glued down yet.
Using Multi Medium Matte and my finger to apply glue to the back of the die cut.

The Simon Says Stamp set pictures is 3X4, its called baby it has allot of little words to go with the many different fonts they spelled baby in.
I added my stamps to my paper and then picked them up with my block to get them where I wanted them to be. I used Versa Fine black onyx ink.
I used Stamps of Life clouds2cut for my clouds and a Martha Stewert heart punch for the hearts.

I am using some Stampin UP bakers twine and dimensional along with some washi to hold everything down.
Here is my set up, I didn't realized they would go on reverse way because they were upside down but that's OK it worked out in the end.

I used two different 6X6 paper packs by Lilly bee designs called Pinwheel and We Are Family.
I used my quick stick and Tombow Mono Multi Glue to adhere the extra hearts to the envelope, inside of the card, and my label for the back of my card.

I cut the label out with a Stampin UP punch and used a Technique Tuesday stamp for the back.
